Did you watch the Frozen Four?

There's no 3 on 3 in the playoffs.

After the Devils allowed 11 goals in two games I don't see how a defenseman who doesn't defend is expected to turn the tide.

Seems more like marketing than sound hockey strategy.

“Marketing” lol.

Yeah, that’s a huge concern in one playoff game, that’s clearly why they’re making a move you don’t agree with. The only explanation really.

It’s almost like the Devils management thinks the series is over, so let the rookie get a taste of the playoffs. I hope he plays well, but he’s not our savior. That’s the vibe I’m getting.
Hopefully Luke can help on the power play and not just give up the puck at the blueline like Graves, Severson and Hamilton 🙏

I won’t be able to watch today because I’ll be at a 3 year olds birthday, but it’s outside which is ideal since it’s beautiful in Jersey today. Hopefully when I check the score luke will have a hat trick already.

The 3 year old won’t even remember the party dude, duck out of that BS.

I kid the kid party. Pin the shit out the donkey tails (or whatever kids do, I don’t know/care).

Anyway LFGD, I will be wearing what is now my lucky Siegenthaler jersey since it got us two wins vs the Rags. (Yes, it played a part, that’s how lucky jerseys work. That’s just science.)

I think Luke will be able to defend just fine...my only concern is him being overwhelmed having never seen this level of intensity, physicality and speed. So easy for seasoned pro to take a bad angle on a winger coming down the wall, let alone someone who has never seen anything like this.

Maybe having been around the speed of his two brothers and of course his own skating abilities will make that all not a problem for him to handle?

We'll see? I have no doubt Luke is on his way to becoming a dynamic NHL Dman...just this pressure cooker is a tremendous amount to ask from him.

No doubt my household will be rooting for him...but very nervously.

Forget the tacos. Time to bust out the PREMIO to reverse course.

Took the plunge and bought in section 11 today. Taking my boy to his first playoff game…very pumped about this.
He will remember it the rest of his life. I remember stuff like that with my dad. I saw Frank Gifford’s one handed catch against the Steelers with my dad, for example, at a frigid Yankee stadium with him. He cut out cardboard to put in our boots for insulation lol. Great memories.

I have that same concern for every defenseman not named John Marino.
The problem is if he does have any troubles and they limit his time and situations it all falls on the top 4 to pick up the slack...which now includes Bahl. Things can get dicey quickly.

Hopefully we can play with a lead today. I think that will change the complexion of the series drastically.

Back to the avatar I had when we won games 3, 4 and 5 of the first round.

I changed it after losing game 6, mostly because DD going into a Rangers game 7 had some bad vibes.

I don’t think it’s so bad when down 2-0 to RAWLY though lol.

I guess this will be another cross the streams.

Love the BMS GDT

At a party recently a friend's new boyfriend said he'd never seen it. Everyone was shocked it was near biblical back in late HS, early college for us ~24 year olds
