Its because the crowd is totally blah

On ice sound has gotten better but the times the refs click their mic on and there is banter of an FCC/CRTC questionable type has to be a record.

That said, I would pay for a feed that allowed me to turn off the PBP and color folks to just hear the on ice sound. There is something soothing about skates on ice, pucks hitting the boards, the sounds of contested ice.

Why do the players tap their sticks at the end of a power play? Those players are in the NHL they should know the time left

Florida gives up way too many prime scoring chances and when the leafs are playing like this they will bury teams eventually in the game

Leafs looked like world beaters first 10 minutes. Pretty good for the Panthers to only be down by 1.

Game 2 against the Bolts had a similar feel a little bit outside of early Tampa powerplays and that was 3-0.

Florida got their ass kicked for most of that first period. Very lucky to only be down by one goal.

I don’t think Toronto was anything amazing on the second half.

Florida got badly outplayed for most of that period, but is only down by 1 goal.

They may be taking that as somewhat of a small victory, and are hoping that Toronto's frenetic pace during the 1st period leaves them a bit tired in the 2nd and 3rd periods.

Or they know it's a road game, they won the first one, and are playing in the playoffs after their start for the first three months of the season. Say what you want, but these bad news cats don't seem to get shakenm

Leafs carried most of the play, but this is easily a 2-2 game if FLA lifts that puck on a 2 on 1. They had another great chance after that as well. FLA seems like they don't need a ton of chances to pop one in.

Florida can't be thinking "this is a road game", like that somehow gives them an excuse to lose.

Because I doubt they win both of their home games.

Going up 2-0 in the series has to be viewed as something to fight for.
