How many people here are fans of non-playoff teams feverishly cheering against Toronto? Personally, I don't even know what I'd do with myself if they actually got eliminated. I'm not ready for hockey to be over yet.

I'm not really rooting one way or another in this series which is strange. My son has never been alive with the Leafs in the 2nd round and he mentioned how he wouldn't mind if they win it all because he feels it might heal years of trauma. He then laughed so I don't know if this is some Zoomer humor at my expense or what. If so, his deadpan is amazing.

They may be taking that as somewhat of a small victory, and are hoping that Toronto's frenetic pace during the 1st period leaves them a bit tired in the 2nd and 3rd periods.
