I think Luke needs to play game 3. We need a good skater on the backend and we need a spark. Luke also doesn't have much tape Carolina can study within our system. Just play him.
Luke has to play.....gotta play your best players now....it's about winning. Our X factor is waiting....

This series is very much over. We’re lucky if we win one.

And every loss has been a f***ing blow out which is just pathetic

I would like to see Luke and akira in next game. Why not. Akira deserves the net, and we have nothing to lose by Luke going in.
Schmid and Blackwood next game, I don’t care who starts. Vanecek looks like he’s 5 feet tall in the net right now.

Sure, but you at least have to be competitive against Carolina. This is an embarrassment. Just keep the games close at least.
It doesn't matter much to me in the grand scheme of things, adversity like that even in defeat can do good, but I can understand the sentiment.

Even the TNT crew saying we should play Luke
They're also saying they think we should play Vanecek lol.

I agree with Luke, but throw the damn towel if we start Vitek.

It's okay to ride and die in the playoffs with one goalie and Vitek has been a dumpster fire in every game so far, other than game 6 at MSG when he came in for 2 minutes and faced exactly 0 shots lol.

Yes, you’ve said. It’s based on 30 games where his play dipped. Dipped from being one of the best wings in the entire NHL. We need to get rid of this player.
He’s a 70 point player. In today’s NHL that’s akin to a 60 point guy just a few years ago. He’s a small perimeter player on a team that already has plenty of that element. He’s been a ghost in these playoffs. He’s demanding big money at a time when a different forward who produces more goals and brings more needed elements also needs a contract.

Those are the reasons. It’s not just based on a few playoff games.

Does he “need” to go? Idk…I think it needs to a consideration depending on who you can get to replace him.
