To me, this is all tinkering at the margins. Other than Timo coming back, most possible changes just aren't likely to be that consequential.

What will make a difference is which version of Schmid shows up tonight, and how our stars play in front of him.

Not to read too much into it, but the Devils have done well with these refs.

Carolina has as well, but they've been a better team the prior two years.

dunno why I have substantially less anxiety than I did before game 2 against the Rags

probably because of how well we played for half of game 1

I'm zen.

So f***ing zen.

LGD.
Yeah right now I’d be amused if Lindy put Brendan Smith again (especially since I knew he would), I was beside myself when he did it the first time - didn’t help he also scratched Siegs to do it either

With the theme of this year's playoffs being reckless hits to haze the young guys (or so it seems), I'm gonna pass.
So save him for October? Games now are kind of important. Take him out of the safe and use him if it helps.

The fact that there is *any* wordsmith'd scenario where you can say "the Devils had an .800 points percentage during this one very specific circumstance in 2021-22" is truly hilarious.

I don't think it makes sense to bench Bratt. This is not the way to deal with his poor play. Yes he has been garbage so far in the playoffs, but he is still one of the best options we have at forward. We need to ice the best possible roster every game, and that includes Bratt.

Benching star players for accountability is fine in the regular season. But not now when every game matters.

We can argue over how much ice time he should get, what line he should be on, and if he should play with the PP1 unit. But he should be in the lineup.

Ya , the thing with Bratt is that he does have game breaker ability. He can skate through the Canes and score or make a higjly skilled play to generate somethi g out of nothing . We have no replacement that can possivly do that.

f***ing lololololololololol at Lindy hinting at Smith in for Graves even being an option. Motherf***ers are literally just trying to follow basically the same exact script as last series
