Is it over a handful of games? His production took a significant dip in the last ~30 games and now the playoffs. He’s a smaller perimeter player. He’s apparently demanding big money. And we have another forward who brings a different element with just as much production needing a contract as well.

The team that’s whooping our ass has let other better players go and they still remain competitive. I have no doubt the devils will find a way to be great without Bratt.

It's a toss up between them and Florida. Both teams have has-been goalies that are on heaters. Bob more than Freddie, as Freddie is now only playing his third game of the playoffs.

By “better” you mean production. I don’t necessarily think we need to fully replace his production if that player brings a different element to the team that helps us with some of our existing weaknesses.
