The Rangers aren't terrible lmfao, they finished with 107 points this year, have many highly skilled offensive veterans, probably the best goalie in the league and a Norris finalist on the roster. What kind of mental gymnastics are people on saying the Rangers are garbage?

It's our first time making the postseason in years and the first real crack for this core. This cannot just be brushed aside.

It's just funny how everyone here complained about the Rags fans saying they only lost due to effort and then immediately complains about the effort. We're playing one of the only teams that was better than us this year, turns out that was for a reason.

I don't believe effort is the issue, I think the team is worse + the line juggling has them out of sorts.

Still not even close to over . Having last change will help. Canes do not have an elite goalie , not any game breakers . Have to be patient and capitalize on the few chances you get . Have to wait for a mistake and capitalize. Thas how the Rangers beat them. Be patient , when you get a chance they bury it and or convert on the PP. Canes game is possession amd forecheck . Eventually they make mistake but HAVE TO make them pay when you do get a rare chance . We havnt been able to yet,
If we scored on our PP we are in the game.

Devils must avoid a Maple Leafs situation with Bratt/Meier. Deep teams like Carolina/Seattle and soon to be Buffalo are the future. Teams that can roll 4 lines and generate scoring chances on all 4 of them.

If it doesn't happen in this series, the Panthers (or Leafs) will probably make it happen.

And watch, it won't be long before they go to Raanta after that, who will likely finish them off.

As much as I've trashed Andersen, I'd much rather play Raanta right now. He was the biggest suspect in killing them in games 6 and 7 last year against the Rangers. Andersen was always a much better goalie than Raanta, who is a career backup/1b goalie that could never become a starter because he was just either not good and there was always a better goalie on the roster, or he just got hurt after he got a starting job and never got it back again.

They are absolutely terrible 5 on 5. They are nothing but a PP and goalie. That's it.
