I think so too. It's a hard spot to be in, a lot of pressure but Woll has shown the ability to lock in in these spots several times before. Play strong defense like we were and he should hold the fort.

Only downside is Woll is not nearly as good at playing the puck as Stolie which massively helps the breakout

5 seems extreme but it's hard not to imagine him doing something dumb.

It doesn't even have to be dumb. You know, 100%, the league has warned the officials to crack down on any sort of physical altercation. Domi is going to lay a borderline hit tonight and get suspended solely because the league won't admit they screwed up yesterday by not suspending Bennet.

Empowered by the league and Ekblad's return, this is only going to be a more dirty Panthers team tonight.

Hopefully the guys are ready for a battle.

I feel like there may be a couple early calls to set the tone from the officials. I also expect that standard to not hold and things to trail off into the ditch as you say.

All we really need to beat Florida is Woll in form, and one of the big-4 to step up huge like Willy did last game , and we're rockin'.

Before the goalie catastrophe in game 1 it was so blatantly obvious we match up far better against Florida this year than in 2023, the boys know fully what to expect.

Anyway, I think this game is going to be a very difficult one. Can't see Florida wanting to go back home down 2-0, and the Leafs certainly shouldn't get distracted by trying to go after Bennett.

Also, would be nice to score in the power play. Our power play made the Sens behave and toe the line. The Panthers are not scared of our power play now.

Morgan Reilly has the same number of playoff goals in the last 16 days as Auston Matthews since the Tampa series in 2023.

That really has to change if the Leafs want to get out of this series.

Thought he was moving much better in game 1, and was actually shooting the puck rather than deferring which we saw too much of in the Ottawa series. Hopefully that's the start of him turning the page a little bit. Hoping for a big night.

Woll is awesome, he was put in a brutal position last game and squeaked out the W.

I want a lot more offensively out of Auston.

Willy has been his usual killer goal scoring self. Knies has been knives. Mitch is looking poised and the criticism of playing scared looks debunked.

Still nervous at the loss of Stolarz. Throws a big wrench into our plans. I like our 5 on 5 stats. I haven't looked at stats because I'm lazy but I feel like we went 0/4 on the pp and may have let in at least 1 shorthanded goal. So hopefully the special teams can make an adjustment

He's had a ton of chances. Not to remove any criticism because he does have to score goals, but I think he's still playing well as a 2-way beast. The shot he missed last game after getting setup by Knies was not a shot he can miss.

Let's hope he explodes offensively... he's bound to at some point?
