He actually kicks out a lot of rebounds past attacking forwards on purpose.

Maybe he should just deflect them into the corner so that our Dmen can chip the puck up the boards to the oppositions Dmen allowing us to be pinned in our end like we so love to be??

What do you think?

Sound like a plan?

The ref didn't pick off anything. The Rangers have been getting all the calls this game but the refs always call the broken stick chop.

Are you kidding me?

The Dorsett bonehead slash notwithstanding, the Bruins have been getting away with murder, meanwhile the phantom on Zuccarello leads to a PPG against and completely shifted momentum.

And CLB fans said Dorsett was the best player in the trade for Gaborik... Wow, they are wrong

Well, what do you expect. The Jackets have sucked for a while, so it would make sense that their fans wouldn't know too much about how good or successful a player is.

Uh, that's one of the main reasons we get pinned in our zone so often. So perhaps he should stop that.

Actually we get pinned in our zone because our D handle the puck like a grenade in our zone. Blindly fire the puck to empty space in our zone and our breakouts flat our suck.

Maybe we should stop that.

If blame is to be placed anywhere it should be on Nash. You know the guy with one goal this playoff and has a higher cap hit than Hank. Time to step the fick up.

One period they look like they can hang, give up a goal and then the entire period they get run over. 20 minutes left in the season, hope this gets him fired.

That's the problem with this team and has been all year. They're great when they get some momentum, but they lose momentum too easily and it's far more difficult than it should be to get momentum back. And many times, by the time they do if they do, it's too late.

The good news about the penalty is it came with only about a minute left in the period. I think those are the worst penalties because it takes time to set up, and once you do, you only have about 50 seconds or so left in the period. And when the period starts back up, it takes more time to get reset up, so you lose a good 15 seconds or so from the period change on the power play.

More good news is we're only down one, so...

So will I but I think Pens go through Bruins pretty easily. I think the only team that has a chance to beat the Pens is the Redwings. Lets hope they beat the Kings.

I don't know about that. Ottawa made the Pens look a lot better than they really are. Most Ottawa shots were poor quality form the boards and Sens D pretty much stood around in awe the whole series and let the Pens do whatever they wanted.

A big physical Bruins team that will hit the Pens will cause some havoc. That's assuming the league actually calls the NHL rulebook, and not the Penguins (you no touch Penguins!) rulebook.

Voukon is beatable and give out tons of juicy rebounds - if you're willing to battle to get into the slot.

If it were just that easy. The reasons are plentiful. Hamrlik is a small part of it. Very small

Handing them the go-ahead (and probably game winning) goal in an elimination game is kind of a big deal. Certainly a huge part of them losing this game. Though not the series entirely.

Going into this series I was glad we beat the Caps who were the hottest team heading into the playoffs, even with key injuries to the Rangers. I'm happy we didn't get swept in this series. Boston has been the better team but not by much. I think we'd get slaughtered by the Penguins anyway.

I still believe that Asham should be playing. The guy is a scoring threat, aren't scoring threats a good thing?

And i'll maintain that Richards should've been playing as well. I loathe Newbury. The dude has done NOTHING useful as a Ranger and, lo and behold, he's on the ice for what will potentially be the goal that ends our season.

Our 4th line was trash with Newbury and Haley and I can't believe people think putting them in had anything to do with us winning game 4.
