To be fair he set up Hags for a perfect opportunity but he hit the crossbar, also set up Stralman in game 7 and he lost control of the puck. 5 points in 8 games would be mediocre but not mind boggling. I'm more concerned that he doesn't create many scoring chances that well anymore.

Really wanted Game 1, and it was there for the taking.

That makes today even more important. Splitting in Boston would be absolutely huge. If the Rangers have any aspirations of doing something really special this season, it'll make things very difficult to have to go another 7 games to win a series.
