Nash will have fits trying to score this series. He struggled immensely against Mike Green and Karl Alzner and I doubt he starts scoring matched against Chara every shift.

I hope not Kershaw, were not winning this series without him producing

Sure we can, we did it last series with lesser proven guys stepping up like Brassard. And Hank playing at an elite level for 7 straight games. Lundqvist can give an AHL team a chance to win a playoff series.

Nash has obviously not performed as well in the POs as in the reg. season, but he still has 28 SOG. He is due some goals. Had he shot at the same level as in the reg. season he would have had 3 goals so far. 3+3 in 8 games is still worse, but not AS bad as 0+3.

It's like looking at the roster, and with our (normal) top 4 players barely producing, it's like "where the bloody hell are these goals coming from?"

Of course, the answer is Brass

Asham the samurai. :handclap:

But seriously. I wish some of our top guys got aty least 1 goal right now... Have to start small... paging Rick Nash PAGING RICK NASH YOU ARE NEEDED IN THE POSTSEASON

If we advance, I don't think he will do much against Pitt either. He was very quiet in those games this year.

In other words, he's having and likely will continue to have a bad post-season. sigh

I'd scratch Richards and give JT Miller a shot in his place. Richards does not do much anyway it's worth a shot for an offensive boost.

I bounced around the idea of him not being in shape for this part of hockey because he hasn't been there in forever

Miller is on his couch recovering from a hand injury.

Maybe Torts will give a Lindberg full of confidence after a SEL gold and WCH final a shot. Probably not, but who knows.

Probably because he should be a # 2 guy instead of trying to be a # 1 which is something he is not and he gets overmatched by who he plays against...just thinking out loud .

I feel like Rangers fans were just looking for an excuse to call the guy a #2. The guy produced like a #1, and played against top lines all regular season. I just feel like people don't like being wrong and therefore are waiting in the wings hoping for the guy's play to match their own perception.

Feel pretty damn good about this one. We will go back to NY with a split series.

Lets go Rangers!

A shortened season doesn't make a player a #1C. I remember early stretch last year where he went PPG or 20 straight games IIRC with Anisimov and Gaborik. Then the whole line tailed off when AA got cold for 17 games without a point.

It wouldn't be a GDT without people *****ing about Miller and Kreider.

I hope Powe is back. (Heard he was ridin the bike yesterday) Help our PK and get Kreider out there to save my sanity of me worrying hes gunna do some idiotic thing defensively everytime hes on the ice
