Such thought provoking comments. Why are you even bothering posting if that's all you have to say and continuing with a dead horse being beaten; i.e. on whether TDA or Marchand is a bigger d-bag?

Anyway, disappointing loss. The Canes power play and them being penalized so much killed them in this one. The Canes getting so many penalties reminded me of game 2 with Boston being penalized so much and the Canes capitalizing on it. I'm also tired of all of the goalie interference drama in this league, and it being a coin toss on whether an incident is GI or not. It seems like the sports equivalent of a rorschach test a lot of times.

It's a lot easier to conture an image off the ice, Pretty much don't get caught doing or saying anything stupid on camera.

After the death of his brother, Kevin Hayes said the player that stepped up the most for the Hayes family was Brad Marchand. He spent time with Jimmy's son, played street hockey and hung out with him at the local rink, got thr kid some gear/swag, etc etc.

Tony Deangelo is a dirt bag but he would beat the brakes off Marchand if he had the cajones to drop the gloves.... He worked MaCavoy completely over this season (didn't even get a hit in had to drop both hands and pull him down by the jersey).
What does working McAvoy over have to do with a hypothetical fight against Marchand? I don't actually believe he would beat the shit out of Marchand and I'm not the only one. DeAngelo is a spot picker for sure and the only fighter he's fought was Simmonds who absolutely manhandled him. The guy is a p***y.

It's kinda funny and almost makes Cassidy look bad that Wagner comes in and starts smashes bodies when he's been punished down to Providence the entire season.. They bring him up and he's making body checks (and good ones) against arguably the best team in the NHL...

I did not know this. Kudos to Marchand. That definitely says something about his character off the ice

Or does it make Cassidy look good? Because Wagner played himself to th AHL and Cassidy knew when to use him and get the most out of him. I remember Wagner looking pretty bad for long stretches, Cassidy somehow either got him engaged or knew when to use him because he was more engaged.

Also, it’s not really Cassidy’s decision, he has to do the best with the players he’s given. I’m sure he has a small amount of input but ultimately it’s Sweeney’s decision.

Brad Marchands off ice image is very contured.....

I swear some of you are quite dense, it's almost as if you don't have the ability to read context...... I haven't one time defended Debagalos prior actions, yet every dirt bag thing the rat does gets defended amusing.

On a side note all of the people here talking poo are the same ones who disappeared during the Bruins road losses.... and will likely dissappear between games 5 & 6.
Brad Marchand is a top 10-15 player in the NHL
DeAngelo isn't even the best defensemen on your team.
What are we comparing? Who's the bigger bad guy? Who gives a f***
Let's settle it by saying you don't care what Bruin fans think of him and I think I speak for most of Boston when I say we sure as f*** don't care what Canes or any other NHL team thinks of Marchy. We like him......and his playoff leading 9 points in 4 games.

The way I see it is this,Marchand and D'Angelo are both dirt bags. The league has protected Marchand, he should have disciplined more hardly in the past. D'Angelo needs to be punished if he said something terrible to Marchand. I say Marchand should go lick Tony and start a fistcuff exchange. Let the two settle it.

They completely lost all sense of structure after 2-0 in game two.... I'm a Canes fan and I almost hope they get up two on us early in the first.... so they can have their hearts ripped out by the team who happens to be +54 in third periods.

Some of your thoughts haven't aged well. Maybe you should find another line of work as opposed to trying to imitate a declarative statement machine.

Boston beating canes without their #1D in a playoff game is going to be huge for bruins' confidence IMO

In 2022 Boston beat Carolina w\o Lindholm in G3
In 2022 Boston beat Carolina w\o McAvoy AND Lindholm in G4.
In 2020 Boston beat Carolina who Rask in G 3,4,5
In 2019 Boston beat Carolina with no McAvoy G1
In 2019 Boston beat Carolina with no Chara G4

I mean how more often can Carolina not take advantage of this stuff?

What if the Bruins were to say the symptoms started Friday night after the game? Tuesday would be 5 days.
How can they do that if Cassidy was saying no lineup changes before the game yesterday? Its possible McAvoy misses G5 and G6 if its 5 days from Sunday.

DeBrusk clearly pushed his stick into the side of Raanta pad but because the puck was right between his legs he still had a good opportunity to still make the save.
Either way , It was accidental and going for the puck.
I wasnt aware of this rule. Bad challenge by rod the bod.

The NHL explained the call by citing Rule 69.7, which states, that "in a rebound situation, or where a goalkeeper and attacking player(s) are simultaneously attempting to play a loose puck, whether inside or outside the crease, incidental contact will be permitted, and any goal that is scored as a result thereof will be allowed."
