Canes in 4. The whole Bruins team is garbage. They can't keep up with Carolina so they resort to running goalies and slashing guys in the face. The Chicago Wolves could finish this out.
I don't see a sweep coming.

Getting last change is going to be huge in Boston. We've already seen Bergeron as the only scoring success for Boston in this series, but getting his line away from Jordan Staal should get them better opportunities at home.

Neither Kochetkov nor Raanta has experience with a rowdy road playoff game. PNC was insane, but it was insane in their favor.

And finally, this series has been extremely physical. I don't see Boston going down in game 3 without some major pushback.

I'll be very happy if Carolina can get a split in the next 2, because I don't think Boston wins game 5 in Raleigh.

Can anyone else think of a matchup where one team so thoroughly dominated both the regular season and postseason series? Pretty crazy how this is going so far, usually it's not this simple. Two more blowout wins by the Canes would be something.
Let's see how the rest of the series goes before starting this discussion lol, don't want any jinxes here

That hit on Lindholm was an absolute beauty. Boston has just been getting manhandled here.

I want to believe you are right about a lot of this, but I dont see it. Boston is totally outgunned right now. Top to bottom. They don't have the personnel for the "pushback" you are expecting.

My personal favorite:

@Bizz lmaooooo ok you're disqualified from your opinion meaning anything if you actually think these things. I was giving you BOTD but you're clearly just not paying attention.

You think Slavin isn't worth some of the praise he's getting? Fine. I disagree and bet you're not watching much Canes hockey, but fine. You think Slavin "wouldn't sniff the top 4 on a playoff team with average Defensive depth?" You should have your hockey fan card taken away. You are a Sharks fan, not a hockey fan, you lose, good day sir.

(FYI, Timo Meier doesn't sniff the top 9 on a playoff team with average forward depth :sarcasm:)

At what point does the league actually do something to Marchand or do the players have to deal with him under the protection of the league for some reason?
The day Jacobs is no longer chairman, until then Parros is his puppet. It's embarrassing and pathetic that Boston gets to get away with this kind of shit. Hit a goaltender in the head and instead of being suspended the penalty is reduced from 5 to 2 mins, then Marchand cross-checks and slashes the goalie. But anyhow Carolina retaliates, you can bet your ass their players will get suspended. Really hoping for a sweep for this dirty ass team. Get dominated on the ice and resort to cheap shots "Tough physical bruins hockey"

Stop. Just stop.

It was stupid. It was a penalty. It was called. Do i like seeing this garbage? No.

Oddly enough, this was the one time last night Where they actually called matching minors and it was the only time they shouldn’t have.

Yep. If Raanta doesn’t get hurt we’re not even still talking about this. Dumb play, clearly trying to be a little shithead and stir things up in the spirit of getting under an opponent’s skin, not a suspension, not a major. Very bizarre injury and I still don’t know how it happened. Canes should get retribution by winning games and maybe going a little more out of their way than they ordinarily would to finish checks on Pasta when appropriate. No love lost, but crying suspension every time someone hits someone or stirs things up in a series will result in ECHL rosters playing in the SCF. This is playoff hockey, shit like this happens.

I don’t think they have the mental fortitude.... That rash of penalties of the incredibly stupid nature shows it... if the Canes even go up 1-0 in game three I think they lose it completely.... if they haven't already. In three regular season games and two post season the Bruins have yet to have a lead in the any game...... they have trailed 15 periods.

1-0 shouldn't be a concern. 2-0 would be IMO.

They suck. I'm having a great day lol

They completely lost all sense of structure after 2-0 in game two.... I'm a Canes fan and I almost hope they get up two on us early in the first.... so they can have their hearts ripped out by the team who happens to be +54 in third periods.

I think their hearts would have to be in the game in order for this to happen. They have yet to show that.

Kochetkov is a hot little tamale as well. No doubt he was chirping Marchand all night (in Russian given he speaks little English). Hopefully Boston can win one so Carolina can close at home.

It was a stupid penalty for sure, but the thing is it's not something new. This is the kind of shit Marchand and co. pull regularly which is the issue. At what point does someone get suspended for taking runs or two handed slashing the goalie ? There needs to be some enforcement by the league, but for whatever reason there never is and thus this kind of shit keeps happening in games involving Boston. Good a penalty was called, pathetic that that's all it was.
