Yeah. Their PP is automatic and Kreider has always killed us.If they don’t change how they PK they will continue to give up PP goals
Are shot attempts not corsi? We def had corsi'sWe had ZERO shot attempts on the power play
That's what they just said on TBS
Jack and Nico were really the only ones that showed up....but that said, they also didn't produce...
and if those guys don't produce this will be a very short series.
agreed but Jack can still create a ton with shooting/passing/entries zonesEven Hughes and Bratt, their games are very much skating oriented. I think Hughes is better then Bratt then finding space and slowing the game down then Bratt, but still, neither guy has really shown to be good PP guys.
Not bad, but not good.
He drives me insane with his pinching and just random playYou will, you just don't realize it.
Remember Filip Bondy? We need him to jinx it again. It's times like these I'd like to have access to the Game 1 GDT in the 2012 ECF to make me rationalize things lmfao.
seems like our players don't fit well together in the PP
Bratt and Jack are very similar
Nico is terrible on the PP, he simply has no hands to be effective there and isn't good at screening or tipping shots, only good on the dot
Hamilton gonna succeed as long as you feed him for one-timers, terrible as a QB and passer
Meier still hasn't been used in the spot he's familiar with
This is one of those times where Ruff should channel his inner Torts. There is no way in the world that I would talk to the media after this one. Ruff should shut the doors and they all should sneak out.
That’s not true. Off the top of my head I remember Dougie with a one timer that deflected off a rangers stick. We had ZERO shot attempts on the power play
That's what they just said on TBS
The goaltending question is a big one. I can’t see going away from Vitek yet. He’s the guy who got you here. Seems to me we show confidence in him, if we expect him to have confidence, and not dump him for a rookie here.1. The Devils playoff rookies got the ripped off hard. They know what to expect now.
2. The Rangers didn't look unstoppable and for a good chunk of the game we looked great.
3. She-Stork is not a God and Hughes showed that he can bleed.
4. Relying on blocked shots isn't a great winning strategy for the Rangers. Someone is going to get hurt and its a tiring job.
5. Devils had some bad puck luck
This isn't the most unexpected outcome, We all knew that a lot of players were going to need to adjust to playoff hockey.
Devils definitely need to figure out the powerplay and perhaps Schmid should be in goal for game two.
This x 1000It’s like the Rags studied game tapes and prepared and the Devils thought they could wing it. They should be watching a lot of film before Thursday.
At least push the Rangers a bit. Just standing in a basically static box makes it too easyYeah. Their PP is automatic and Kreider has always killed us.
