I'm not saying we've generated bunch of great chances but neither have the Rangers. And they have scored 3. They have 1.13 xGF at 5on5 and have scored 2. We at 1.51 have not scored.

They lead and deservedly so, but Devils have given up those 3 goals way too easily. Whether its been dumb penalty, soft goal, blown coverage.

They did a good job of not giving us anything in that period. Being up 2 zip, that’s the smart game they played.

As to our power play only idea I have is that when they sell out to block Hamiltons or Hughes shots, Meyer or Nico pop out of the weak side corner for the one timer, with our point man selling the shot going to the slap pass Meyer or Nico.
