I don't get the deadline. Deal two 2's to retain and take Moore's contract to focus on ONE player in Rakell that you didn't get?it's pretty clear now with nearly 7 years of hindsight that Sweeney & Neely are just implementing the same old bullshit that Sinden implemented for 30+ years. Just be good enough to get into the playoffs every year and give the illusion you're trying to compete. 2011 was an anomaly because Chiarelli was an outsider and actually went for it. At least I got to see them win that one.
At least they won the one Cup, but as the pieces of this core fade away, one by one, the whole body of work feels like an awful lot of choke.
I don’t feel like this season was a choke, though.
Never felt like they had the horses.
I cannot see it unfortunately. Next season the roster should be different. Why come back to this dumpster fire of a roster if you're Bergeron?
They played way better without Gryz. He's a liability in the play-offs, I'm not sure how much more evidence you could possibly need other than his performance.I'm so confused.
For the past several years, I was lead to believe that all of the Bruins' post-season issues were the fault of Tuukka Rask and Matt Grzelcyk.
Chokey organization.1 cup in 50 years is an abomination
Chokey organization.
Makes me love and appreciate the one Cup I’ve seen in my lifetime all the more.
But rooting for this organization is one root canal after another.
The fact that they had Bergeron, Pastrnak, and Marchand locked up on the deals they had them on and failed to fill out the rest of the forward lines adequately year after year is a failure of inexcusable proportions.
