It’s amazing how much longer of a leash you get when you’re big. Schneider has been so so bad and he just keeps getting chances

Nils would’ve been shipped back to Sweden if he was playing this bad

Schneider looks like Libor Hajek out there, he basically got the longest leash for throwing that one hit in the Devils game.

He’s only 20, so certainly possible he gets better, but he’s been completely overmatched.

Shesterkin reminds me of Ziggy Sobotka

from season 2 of The Wire...

Kreider’s compete level is just not good enough.

f***ing pressure him to waive and trade him. We have left wings in spades. His salary and the assets he brings back could help fix our center nightmare.

Join me. Stop falling for nostalgia just cause he’s been here a long time. He’s not the 50 goal scorer he was this year, he’s what you are seeing right now and always has been. Real legit 50 goal scorers don’t disappear like he always does.

My bet is he's injured more than let on after the Carter hit. He was great in games 1 and 2.

He might be hurt, but after Game 1. I am surprised he is still standing. That game took a ton out of him. Like I said before. The Pens starting goalie from that match didn't even make it out the game and is now out for who knows how long.

Igor may just be plain tired. To quote some old dead guy...Exhaustion make cowards of us all.

Stay with your man!!! Don’t turn your head to see what’s going on because that’s when they move and get open. Maybe the coaches can teach this to them?!!!
20, 10 and 16 can sit and watch anyone play on the 4th line and be better than them.

They are gripping the stick way to hard. They need to play loose like they have nothing to lose. They lost this game mentally before the puck drop. Like they are hoping something good happens, the first series of bad things and they all slump over. The body language says it all.

This looks like a mentally defeated team right now. Like they're all going through a bout of severe depression or something.

I honestly think the Rangers are extra timid to be very physically aggressive in fear of the refs calling penalties on them.

They got into their heads and never left.
I remember thinking they weren’t calling a lot of the late hits the first game. I do wonder if they warned them that they were going to start calling it. But they’ve gone completely soft.

Just curious are kreider and zibby hurt too?
I think the only ones who aren’t hurt must be miller and lafreniere right now

Vatrano is an ideal 3rd line RW who you can use on PP1 as well. He's a really versatile player who can fill in a trigger role on a top line if you have an injury.

I think you easily let Strome guy and re-sign Copp and Vatrano.
Ship Strome to the sun. Sign Copp unless the ask is insane.

I’m done with Vatrano. He was fun, but I’ve seen enough to not fall in love with this honeymoon period. There’s a reason he has been a 30 point bottom 6 guy. His defense is non-existent. When he isn’t scoring on his shot, he isn’t helpful. He’s the premium version of Pirri and I hope this team doesn’t commit to him blocking Laf and Kakko for anymore time than they already have.

It's possible Kreider did us x big favor this season with the gaol scoring. It may make him moveable this summer. This roster needs to be turned over a bit if this team wants to be successful in playoff series.

This. Everyone is gonna want a player with term coming off a 50 goal season. There could be a bidding war. Just get him to waive and we may get a haul.

Igor DOES need to be better. But his team has literally set him up for failure. He's pretty far down the list of people to blame for the series' loss.

A record breaking chances-for vs chances-against (high danger) in game 4.

And tonight, no urgency in the o-zone, still standing around in the d-zone (Zibanejad).. in an elimination game.

Put 2 prime Hasek's in our net at once in game 4, we still lose by a few goals. The team had a historically bad game.

Lundqvist was outplayed by a 20-year old Varlamov in 2009, like severely. Then outplayed by Michal f***ing Neuvirth in 2011.

I mean, Varlamov wound up being an extremely successful starter in the NHL who was nominated for a Vezina. Just because he was young doesn't mean he didn't have the talent.

You have a point on Neuvirth, but at least he was an NHL goalie.

Shesterkin isn't the #1 player to blame. Despite what HuntersGatherers paints me as, I want Shesterkin to do well. He was their MVP all season, I just have extremely high expectations for him, as everyone in here should. Just like I have high expectations for Panarin, Fox or anyone else.

I won't put the sole blame on Shesterkin, because honestly, I feel like they should be able to beat the Penguins with Georgiev in net.

I'm extremely disappointed and was hoping for more. I hope Igor takes it as a learning experience, gains some poise, and comes back next year even better.
