I am now in the acceptance phase of grief. We are just going to keep getting exposed against fast teams. This team ain’t winning the Cup, even if we miraculously win this series. Tear it down. Relying on goaltending and the power play is not a formula for success.

Horrible and unlucky start but we settled pretty well.
Panarin missing 3 chances really hurts.
Kids had a good first shift and then looked like crap for the rest if the period.
Would be nice to see Kreider do something.
They need to get Tank on the 1st PP unit

Perspective: We made it to the Conference Finals last year because we faced nothing but backup goalies in the first two rounds. This team isn't as great as they appeared last year, but also aren't as bad as a 1st round KO to an AHL goalie this year. Truth is somewhere in the middle.

PS.... If losing in the 1st round is what it take to get Panarin off this team, then this series loss is collateral damage,
