I’m so tired of pretending Chytil, Kakko or Laf look like they will ever be top six players. The only capacity in which one of them will ever be a top six player is the same way in which guys like Vesey or Goodrow find themselves taking a top six shift. Even Chytil’s production, I highly doubt would hold up if he were tasked with playing actual top six minutes against top six competition. The kids line is literally a hideous daily reminder of our franchise’s ineptitude. They suck.

Chytil is the only one with some skating ability but lacks the puck handling like kakko.

They're not irredeemable losers that can never succeed. The team literally just needs to get better at hockey. A first round exit is the quality of team they've been the entire year.

That's why I am so angry with the whole thing. They are good players but the rest is such a mess.

They've got it made here unfortunately. No consequences. As long as people fill the seats, the brass doesn't care what happens. We need self motivated players, ones who want legacies. Playing like a dead fish makes guys sour quickly... don't give a f*** how much talent you have then.
