My reply......The Rangers are trying to distinguish their "real fans", opposed to the ones that say they're "real fans".

That's why there's a list incoming. Criticizing their lackluster performances is one thing, out and out PREDICTING they will lose the series is NOT the makings of a "real fan".

I stated I am making a list (& checking it twice), @Machinehead said he was making one (he let it slide last year) many smiles came to my face.

@will1066 above post (whether true or his thoughts) are very prophetic.
Everyone cares, but they can only do what they can do. Much of hockey (imo) is mental. Within a series and taking for granted (for 1 game) is very human. Opposing teams get paid as well. Whether they're better than your team or not.

Kane spoke to the team in practice yesterday apparently.

I think youll see a lot more shots on net, but better quality. That was one of the things the Rangers TRIED to do in Game 4 to generate some rebounds, but Kane was one of the only ones that was shooting and timing those shots at the right time. When Rangers were at the front of the net or goalmouth.

There were several shots on Schmid that were from the outside or the point, just thrown on with about .01% chance of going in, and then no one anywhere near the net to get a rebound chance even if Schmid had trouble directing it.

They need to get inside of the Devils D and drive to the net every chance they get, with AND without the puck. That will create more space for creating chances and getting to those rebounds

Devils are not beating Igor 3 times in a row. They're not beating Igor 4 times in 5 games.

Rangers best this series (Games 1-2) was an A+. Devils best this series (Games 3-4) was a C- (we just happened to be an F).

Maybe we don't get back to Games 1-2 form, but Devils have shown NOTHING in 4 games .. get back to our game and bury them. Rangers in 6.
