It didn't go into the bench, it went over the bench into the crowd, which is a penalty.

Yea there was one replay that showed the puck still clearly below glass level when it had already crossed the boards thus no penalty should have been called.

Not really sure why they don't have a fast track review process for it though. The replay center could have told them definitively what to call in about 10 seconds instead of a 3 minute break for them to huddle up. Kinda like the expedited replay the NFL uses.

Definitely has affected the momentum of the period, but at least we didn't see a season end on a bad call (yet)

The bigger problem is probably the blatant interference calls that one teams keeps getting away with
