Beginning to muck it up seems to be shifting momentum. We just don’t score many goals that way historically.
I think the Devils are playing better than we are tonight and have a better lineup than we do.Have you seen any sustained effort by nyr to drive momentum? Anything with a forecheck? Anything with proactive physically? Do you think nyr has contributed to NJ youth settling in by not pushing the envelope when they had them on their heels? Has nyr done anything to make a rookie goalie in the playoffs uncomfortable or significantly tested him? I'm not saying the devils are bad, I'm saying nyr had them on the ropes and they backed off giving a good team life.
I chalk that up to nerves and a young Devils teams with little experience. I really don't want to argue this. It is what it is. I hope they prove me wrongAnd yet we won the first 2 games 5-1 !!!!!!!
They are still out celebrating game 2 win and Mikas birthday.would be nice if the top 6 showed up
Looking like early in the season suddenlyRegardless, we really suck 5v5. We can't carry the puck cleanly into offensive zone to generate those chances.
Finding a way to dump 93 for a top line center who can actually drive play would be excellent.I would be OK with another mini rebuild.
Kakko. Feisty. He's on testosterone now? 200 mg a week?
It’s clear theyer playing it safe as hell and don’t want to get caught deep.Trash offensive zone scheme, players never supporting the puck always back to the point if there's no cross-ice pass.
Hey if you add Laf & Kakko’s points together they’re only 20pts shy of HughesYep. Imagine being the first overall pick, scoring 97 points in the best league in the world by 21 years old, securing a 65M contract extension and being the face of your franchise. How dare he have a little bit of confidence and swagger. It’s not like he’s an overly cocky or obnoxious player - the only thing obnoxious is how good he is and that he’s a Devil. If he were on a non-rival I’d be a big fan. As it is, he’s still one of the most exciting and dynamic players in the world. Wish we had a single player like him.
Also, if the Rangers lose this series, that is justifications 1, 2, 3, 4, 4b, 5, 5b, 5c, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 to explore sending Panarin’s 12M contract to any taker.

I said this a few weeks ago, that come this time he needs to prove why he should be here robbing the Federal Reserve blind. Some guys don't have it for the ratcheted up stakes. Starting to believe he does notAlso, if the Rangers lose this series, that is justifications 1, 2, 3, 4, 4b, 5, 5b, 5c, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 to explore sending Panarin’s 12M contract to any taker.

I've heard that somewhere before...Trade Panarin to LAK. Somehow meet LAK in the Cup final in two years. He gets 10 points in 5 games to wreck us.
