Schneider's turnover to Boyle that led to a goal was a classic "youngster in the playoffs" mistake.

Then we watch Nemeth make boneheaded plays or even. Braun struggle. The 2 guys brought in for "playoff" hockey.

Just like putting the kid line together I hope Turk is willing to buck old fashioned trends and put Jones with Schneider because they compliment each other like Fox and Lindgren. But it's like a prerequisit for Rangers coaches to ice at least 1 whipping boy.

Sometimes it works , sometimes It doesn’t. A game going into OT could be good for the D, will have an extra guy with less mins and more rested.

If you're dressing 7D, whats the point? Does that mean you're dressing Lindgren and not playing him on the PK? It will get all other Dmen out of rhythm.

At this point I'd rather see Libor than Nemeth. Just change something.

Gallant may be just dropping BS to get Pittsburgh to have to make multiple plans.

Every time I watched that Schneider/Boyle replay the more I just see a big man kick a kid's legs out lol - I laugh because Boyle is just that big.

Gallant is not stupid. These are mind games coaches use in the playoffs. Georgiev is only in if Igor is hurt or has an emergency.

The biggest problem with 11/7 is we rarely used it during the regular season to establish those double shifting horses. Then heaven forbid a forward gets hurt. Unless he plans on double shifting Chytil or Laf, our vets have enough mileage this series that this will backfire.

The truth is our forwards need to help out big time tonight, because right now we can dress 11 D and only 3 of them can even clear the zone or make a pass anyway. So it doesn't really matter, we don't have great D depth. That isn't getting fixed this series, hopefully next year.

The Penguins are feasting upon our dregs. So our stars need to go nuclear tonight.
