No excuses to lost this game. You can't lose on home ice in a situation like this. Pittsburgh knows all the pressure is on the Rangers so I'm expecting them to be loose and to play very well.

neither of them are carrying each other. they are both absolutely horrible in the defensive zone. Schneider is passable in the offensive zone, at least, but they're both atrocious.

Brandon is a beast who has been very impressive as a novice

Ok. Yes. Because there's a huge difference to the top 4 if the the third pair gets 0 shifts per period or if they get 2 shifts per period. There's not a guaranteed TV Timeout every 4-6 minutes or constant stoppages or anything for them to rest I suppose.

Is Hajek GG's trick up his sleeve? Hajek - Braun. They've just been resting Hajek this season so he can play lights out in the playoffs. Braun's shot gets through a lot and he keeps them low for rebounds. Way better than the muffins Nemeth throws on the net. Nemeth should not see the ice tonight.

I'd take Georgiev in goalie skates playing D over Nemeth. Seriously, whatever physical and mental issues Nemeth was dealing with earlier in the year are back. Jones getting lost in his own zone is worth what he can do to get the puck out and contribute in the o zone.

Yeah, I really don't think a Ryan Lindgren at 50% is really going to help us much, will probably actually hurt us.

If he can't go then just use the same lineup but stop using Nemeth so much.
