Couldn't it have been a 1:00 PM game today? There's two afternoon games tomorrow. Canes/Islanders starts at 1:00, with the Bruins/Panthers starting at 3:30. Why couldn't we just be the first game today? Then every game would be in a different time slot, unless they went to OT.

The Devils should play at 7pm and only 7pm.

Where have you guys been for the last 10 years? Boston, NYR, Philly, Detroit, Washington, Pittsburgh and Chicago are the only teams the league has an interest in as far as the US goes.

They need those teams in prime-time, or national games as much as possible. So with only 2 of them in the playoffs this year, that’s what you get.

Notice Boston and NYR are never on the same night? Maximum exposure.

Eliminate the Rangers and we solve half of the problem.

Despite not playing as much as he should have, Schmid was statistically our best goalie this season and gave us the best chance to win from our 3 options.

Oh I get it, and I'm firmly on Team Schmid going forward, but it's been wild watching us wait until the very last game of the regular season to seemingly cut bait with Blackwood then use all of two playoff tilts to sit the starter we rode to a record breaking season in favour of a 24-gamer while we're getting comprehensively outplayed in all three zones.
