I wouldn't play any player that has a injury right now. The goal before Wednesday was to go back to Boston 1-1. We have that guaranteed. Let players nursing injuries heal and be ready for game three in Boston. Maybe someone steps up and we win game 2. If not we have a few players coming back in lineup for game 3 to add a boost. This is a marathon not a sprint.

The Morrow move would back up this thinking...

I understand the whole "house money," thinking...but I can't be a fan of punting on a playoff game to get guys healthy. The Morrow move reeks of "aww, we're screwed, let's get him a game."

Getting him a game is stupid. If you have to play Morrow, you're done. Pointless.

I'd much rather they play just about anyone else. I'd be all for O'Gara.

This let's play crappy Morrow for the first time in months seems defeatist.

Morrow seems to be a placeholder so Chara/McAvoy can play more, I beg he won't even get ten minutes

Flying to Ottawa tomorrow for the game. :D

2nd time in Ottawa for a game...this'll be my 9th Bruins Playoff Game. The B's are 7-1 when I have attended in the past.

We're counting on you man.....

Bruins going with the one big line and whatever. Team is decimated right now.

All these injuries to defensemen have been crazy. Glad McAvoy was able to step right in. It would be nice to get Krug and Carlo back for game 3 but who knows how bad off they really are.

At least that top line is arguably a top 3 line in hockey, when it's firing.

Tell the other three lines to defend like ferrets and put all your chips on 63-37-88. It's not the worst bet to make.

Cassidy said Krug wouldn't be available for the first round....he has a leg brace, so I would take his word on this one. Maybe Carlo will be back though, that would be huge to get one of the two.

Until you see some of those guys practicing, don't even think about them playing imho. I don't think we'll see Carlo till a game 6 at the earliest, Krug not at all, and Krejci I'm starting to think about a game 5-6 also at the soonest.

I'm at the point where Miller+Acciari would be the most welcome to get healthy at this point. Also really curious to see what Spooner+Backes does as a grouping.

edit: ah just saw news about Miller being out, Morrow in.

Hold on to your butts!

having to record this one, my dog is long overdue for his nails to be clipped (I know I know, sounds lame) and the only appointment on this holiday weekend was/is at 4:30 so going to leave my cell at home, not listen/watch anything until I expect the game to be over by and watch it then

Rrg, frustrating but the dog and life comes before Bruin hockey

B's have been on magical run.

Dobby stealing wins vs. Islanders & Hawks, amazing. McAvoy plugged in, 24 solid minutes. 5 defensemen, no Krejci, no Krug, no Carlo, no shots for a period, no problem. Stalward down the stretch and in game 1, Riley freakin' Nash.

Morrow will play, may even score. In OT.

Told you to get the cat.
Disappointed that Ms's ODAAT didn't pick you up here. She would know its playoffs - whatever it takes to help the team. Not to worry, first will be uneventful and they will break out n the second just in time for you getting back from the vet.

I couldn't agree with you more, it's time for some of these in sung heros to get a shot!! I am hoping Morrow comes out blazing and scores the game winner. Riley Nash-hello-great time to break things out and be a force on the ice. Moore has been an amazing consistent player all year long-with the story of his life, how do we not love this guy. Tim Schaller also scores and proves nice things can happen to a guy from NH!!
Get well Krecji, Krug, Carlo and my favorite Accari!!
Let's do this!!

Here is how I would do forward lines

1. In honor of Easter all eggs in one basket - 63-37-88

Omen

Tell them to go off

2. Second line - super defense line that has moxie

?- Moore - Nash

Schaller tied or ahead, Vatrano behind

3. Spooner & Backes

I'd try Beleskey early to see if he has it and Vatrano- hope 1 is on

Hope Spooner has home town legs

4. Mix and match with minimal minutes

Extra TV timeouts should be an advantage

Did this a lot in youth hockey and worked great when had 1 great line a couple real smart defensive forwards and a bunch of others

There have been many many times over the years that having a complete healthy line up don't translate into a win. They showed they could get in done when far less than full strength in game one. No reason to think the Bruins can't duplicate the effort in game two. Bring it from puck drop and let the chips fall where they may.

Let's Go Bruins!
