Going to be another offensively impotent game without Krejci. Bergeron line needs to carry the team, like they have all season. Colin being able to skate is good news. Dusty and cobwebbed Morrow would worry me more than Colin, even though he too can have his brainfarts.

Colin Miller is not participating in rushes. Joe Morrow would play if he's unavailable.

Hope what ever Krejci is dealing with he waits until game three in Boston. If they were down a game throw him in there but there up might as well wait.

not sure how I didn`t recognize/read/hear that the B`s had 8 players Wednesday night make their playoff debut and if Morrow and Acciari are good to go tomorrow it would make 10....crazy

This Krejci thing is so frustrating as a fan. The guy plays all 82 games, and by all accounts is ready to go for game 1 after reports of taking a few practices off. All of a sudden he's a late scratch and isn't on the ice for practice the day before game 2. What could it be? There are no reports of anything.

I guess maybe they feel the pressure is off for game 2? Let him rest. If they lose game 2, no big deal as you're coming back to Boston and now have home ice advantage in the series.

I think that is a significant part of the B's interview and draft decision process.

Not sure it was Barzal, but I think in 2015 the B's interview with a potential top draft pick didn't yield the desired results and they did not pick that player, and got some flack for it.

It was reportedly Kyle Connor.

Yeah really I kinda feel sorry for him.Let him play somewhere.

I'd like to see Morrow get some action if Colin Miller can't play. I'm resigned to Morrow not returning to the Bruins next season, but he will most assuredly be picked up by someone else—probably a team like Colorado, Toronto, Buffalo or New Jersey, which can use some defensive help. And he'll probably do well.

Fluto is reporting a slightly different 4th line:

I like those lines, as much as you can with Krejci out...

Very glad they're keeping 63-37-88 together. Ottawa has no answer for them. If they can combine for 2 goals, that could be good enough to win. Pasta could have gotten 4 the other night. Hopefully the first playoff game nerves are gone and all three can just play their game.
Stafford looked great on Wednesday... Hopefully Backes and Spooner can pick it up.
Moore has certainly done well enough to be a 3rd line center. Hopefully Vatrano has the monkey off his back, and Nash gives what you expect of him.
4th line is good enough. Have Beleskey hit everything that moves.

Have to hope desperately they're just playing it smart with Krejci. We NEED him.
