Any chance of Krug or Carlo?

Neither made the trip and I believe the Bruins twitter said there were no plans to send them up. They're both day to day.

Fine by me... We already split the trip, and got rid of their home ice advantage. Would be huge if we win Sunday, but even if we don't, 5 game series with 3 games being in Boston with hopefully at least one of them back by the mid-way point of the series.

So does thar mean Morrow will be in. No call ups.
Assuming C Miller is out.

Flying to Ottawa tomorrow for the game. :D

2nd time in Ottawa for a game...this'll be my 9th Bruins Playoff Game. The B's are 7-1 when I have attended in the past.

It is hard to wait the extra day while the other series are going ahead today but it is to our advantage with the injuries. I really hope DK and Acciari are back. Someone said Colin Miller was limping a bit after the game. One day extra rest is huge for these guys.

The first period could have had the Bruins up 3-0 but they seemed jittery and missed some big chances when the puck was just begging to be put in the net. Hopefully they take game 2 easily.

Nice, I'm debating going! You know where the Bruins stay right? Go to the Brookstreet tonight and there's a good chance you'll meet them all. I may swing by to say hi to them, hotel is not that big all things considered. On Saturday may be tougher to catch them all, probably around 11am they'll load up.

in all fairness, the extra day is equally as valuable for the Sens as they too aren`t exactly a picture of health

can`t believe he`s still kicking around, he was in his prime just when I was in my drinking prime:laugh:

 Me too. The downstairs club! Need a Jimmy George comeback! Duke of Sommerset was my month of Sundays and cause for Guiness addiction!

I have this old Carlton University radio station Lucky Ron recording. Listen to it all the time. Great memories.

I used to pound quartz of beers at the Lockmaster upstairs, the "Duke", at the time I was drinking was full of what we now refer to as hipsters where upstairs was more my speed

Convicts on one side

Those hiding from having warrants served to them on the other

Dark, gloomy and I was assured anyone who was looking for me, wouldn`t dare venture in there:laugh:

I never attended Carleton but I used to go to Oliver`s on, I think either Wednesday or Thursday night`s with my buddies which used to be a blast

Now, back to the game, go B`s:yo:

Yeah he seems like a pretty well spoken kid, who gets it.

I think we might have a good one here!

I think that is a significant part of the B's interview and draft decision process.

Not sure it was Barzal, but I think in 2015 the B's interview with a potential top draft pick didn't yield the desired results and they did not pick that player, and got some flack for it.

Too funny! Yes back to the game. I really like our chances with Krejci, Carlo, and Ace back in the fold. Add a Krug next series. Bruins are a legit threat.

I know many of these top end prospects are virtually groomed for standing in front of the media and fans from a young age but I still can`t imagine how uncomfortable and potentially nerve-wracking this process is.

While I understand that the interview process surely plays a role in decision making, I have to think all organizations understand that there`s just some kids who aren`t close to being comfortable and that discomfort shouldn`t be the sole reason why a team would pass on a kid. Not saying at all this happened with Barzal (to use your example)

Check out the Ottawa market downtown. Nice bar area. Might get lucky and see some Lucky Ron!

We have a market, but it sure ain't called that ;) That's a bit like calling Camden Market the Boston Market.

New cool part of town is Hintonburg/Wellington West. Cool little breweries, pubs, probably better restaurants as a whole, free parking. The Byward market is probably just for tourists and kids looking to get drunk. Although some of the better sports bars are there now.

Connor McDavid is a prime example - back in juniors when he started getting a ton of press, he was the most awkward interviewee you could ever watch - worse than Phil Kessel! But, even though he seems to lack that skill, his skill in the game overshadowed his awkwardness.
Lately, he's much better and has taken to his leadership role really well. Dealing with the media is a skill you can learn, so I definitely agree that interviewing skills are hopefully weighed less than some of us fear.

Did either of them make the trip? A guy that follows the bruins fairly well told me he read that they did not...

Hopefully dk and accairi are both back skating tomorrow that would be great.

From Prohockeyrumors.com

"Amalie Benjamin of NHL.com reports that the Bruins will not bring Torey Krug or Brandon Carlo to Ottawa for game 2, still listing them day-to-day. Colin Miller, who exited last night’s game after just seven minutes of ice time, was seen limping around*and is questionable for Saturday’s game"

On Noel from Bruins site:

"He's close," said Cassidy. "Day to day, and certainly possible for Saturday."

As an interesting aside, if Chiller is unable to go, Cassidy is planning to dress Joe Morrow

Right now with McAvoy playing the game he did on Wednesday, and the void left with Carlo being hurt, I couldn't be happier that we didn't trade either of them for Landeskog. What was I thinking back then! LOL

That's awesome! I really wanted to go but just got back from a trip and didn't put the trip together in time. Wish game 5 was scheduled for Saturday...

I'm really hoping to get to an away playoff game here I'm the next year or two depending on opposition.

Is Joe Morrow still on the team? Last time I saw him, I'm pretty sure it was on a milk carton.

Ugh, I hate having to wait an extra day, but it's better than having a B2B scheduled....
