Yeah. I think that's true. He's definitely their more indispensable player. Anywhere else, they've got depth and replacements ready to step up. But that's always the risk when you roll your hopes on a pair of a hundred and thirty eight year old centers.
Agreed. Just surprising with the amount of skill and experience they have up front, with Pasta, Krejci, Marchand, Hall, Coyle, DeBrusk, Bertuzzi... they should still be able to generate incredible offense.

I don't know how Lomberg is in the NHL. That slash on Foligno was straight up one of the dumber things you can do having just answered Marchand's shorty and taken back the lead. Just brutal to watch that guy make dumb play after dumb play trying to be physical.

Not talking shit, Bruins will probably win in the 3rd, but they kinda look like garbage??? Florida is a borderline non-playoff team riding a 3rd goalie and it's been fairly even.

Also the ice is worse than Florida? How?

Bruins aren't trying - it's pretty clear. They are not motivated by their opponent. They played like this down the stretch and basically won games by 1 goal instead.

You are explaining multiple players on Florida's roster. I'm dumbfounded as to how the refs let all the blatant interference from Florida go all night then call not one but two incredibly weak calls on the Bruins.

So happy Marchand got the shorty.

Deserved.

They absolutely have looked like garbage, dealing with some issues. But they’re in a good spot going into the third.

Florida probably would have gotten a shorty but Barkov was tripped on his way to the net and it wasn't called so.

Lomberg is in the league because he can skate and hustles. He does take bad penalties, but so do most of the Panthers.

Barkov didn't put much into that and, I think, got the shot off he wanted. Of course, he was tripped, but I don't think that saved a goal

Can anyone explain how Tkachuck takes a nice whack at someone and the ref is fine with it.
2 seconds later, he receives the same slash and all of a sudden his slash is a penalty?

Why is the action ok and then not ok after someone else's action?

Celtics and Bruins alternating nights there so the ice is taken out and ruined every other night.
