I actually checked, there isn’t a single example of them losing the following game in the Matthews/Marner era where they lost by at least 3 in the prior playoff game (unless in cases where they were eliminated). You better hope Samsonov stinks tonight.I'm actually betting he will have a 4th stinker in a row he hasn't had a save % above .850 in his last 3 starts.... and he has more games under .825 this season than games over .900
What's the data on that when Marner is out? LolI actually checked, there isn’t a single example of them losing the following game in the Matthews/Marner era where they lost by at least 3 in the prior playoff game (unless in cases where they were eliminated). You better hope Samsonov stinks tonight.
Is there any word on who the goalies are tonight?
And what if the injury is enough that his back keeps locking up, so bad he literally cannot stand upright?Nylander better play, this is playoffs. Unless you are on your death bed you play
Back in my day, players played through all injuries. This Leafs team are a bunch of wusses.
Samsonov will start in net for the Leafs. Is there any word on who the goalies are tonight?
Back in my day, the players would play through it.And what if the injury is enough that his back keeps locking up, so bad he literally cannot stand upright?
I know we would all love it if everybody was invincible, but shit happens. They are but men.
Do or Die for the Leafs tonight
There’s sore and there’s immobile.Back in my day, the players would play through it.
Tony Romo played through fractured ribs and a punctured lung. I'm sure Nylander can handle his back being a bit sore.
Did the NHL change the first round to 3 game series ?Do or Die for the Leafs tonight
Are the leafs going to play like men or like weiners.
I don't think they're going to climb out of a 0-2 hole with Nylander questionableLast I checked it is still first to 4 wins and tonight is game 2.
Plus it’s hard to see them beating the Bruins 4 out of 5 games with the Leafs D and goaltending. I mean it’s not impossible but it’s highly unlikely imo.I don't think they're going to climb out of a 0-2 hole with Nylander questionable
Back in my day players had to skate uphill on no food.Nylander better play, this is playoffs. Unless you are on your death bed you play
