Leafs can't afford to lose or series is most likely over, doubt Leafs could win 4 of next 5. Winning 4 of 5 to finish series is a tall order for many, alone one with history Leaf's have in playoffs. Good news for Leafs fans, ESPN/NHL/Media prefer to stretch playoffs series out more than not. And since both teams are teams are clubs NHL doesn't mind moving on: odds are Leafs will get timidly PP opportunities tonight to help them make series 1-1. Will Leafs take advantage? Sink opportunities? Or not give up a zillion goals? That's the equation that needs answering.

Here's to good game, love NHL playoff hockey. I've always enjoyed when Bruins & Leafs play each other: they both despise each other dearly, fans do too, and those ingredients make great vibes & carnage. No doubt....

Good thing hockey is not played by simulations/computers. Toronto had the momentum but giving up that first goal is a back breaker. Again every game in the playoffs the home team has won. Home Ice looks advantageous this year around. Should be fun game. I think bruins take the game 4-2.

Boston has a tendency to blow 3-1 series leads. Did it last year, did it against the Leafs (but won game 7), and let's not forget them against the Flyers.

Series is far from over regardless of result tonight

Tampa, Panthers, etc are teams who have mastered being dirty as hell without the refs noticing. That is what he means. Don't do it when the refs are watching. So yeah kinda the gameplan in a way
Makes it seem like Marchand was doing it too, which he was. Domi got caught.
I'm sure you all will be fine with it if the roles were reversed and Mathews gets it on the wrist away from the play, or crosschecked in the throat after the whistle.

Toronto is lucky that's not Bostons game plan. Then again Toronto was unlucky that Boston had a real game plan instead.

On topic of officiating, I'll accept at least having the calls even tonight. Bruins always seem to get every call but oddly never take penalties against the Leafs.

That's what happens when you have a specific pair of glasses on

Love how quick you switch from "game plan= play as dirty as hell without the reffs noticing" to "I'll accept at least having the calls be even tonight"

They've also only made it past the 2nd round once in the last 10 years (including this year so far) They're not this big time playoff performing team that they were in their championship year in 2011
Well, by the same logic, I guess it's a good thing for us that the Leafs have only made it to the 2nd round once in the last 20 years.
