They played one bad period. It was more or less even in the 3rd and OT, maybe slight edge to the Penguins.

I missed a good chunk of this one while playing my own game, but I’m going to go ahead and assume that were mad at the disallowed goal and upset that Shesty lost to two bum keepers despite posting 80 f***ing saves.

Anyway, they weren’t going to sweep this series. Still no excuse not to win, especially if Rakell and DeSmith are out for awhile.

The line combos have been bad for a while. Our first line is awful, kid line can’t control the puck at all, 4th line somehow gets every big Ozone draw Lol…

That said, stop Crosby and Malkin and we win… but don’t know if our D are up for it yet.

First period was as good as Ranger hockey has been this year. Hounding the puck, finishing checks, getting shots.

It's that resting on their laurels crap in the second that costs us games. It has for the last few months.

The series is far from over. As long as we have Shesty, there's a chance. It's just on everyone else to step up and play with a pulse. This Penguins team was getting thrashed by the speedy forecheck we had in the first.

We were f***ed by Toronto. No doubt about it. But the Chytil goal being waived off aside, we were not the better team and did not deserve to win this game.
