Did anyone else partake in 4/20 activities today? Watching the game zooted. Making food.
I seem to recall right after Don Messers Jubilee but it may have been worse on some nights. Be thankful we are not back in 1962
CBC's Winnipeg affiliate carried Game 3 of the Montreal-Chicago playoff series at 8:30 p.m. Central time (9:30 p.m. Eastern time). Meanwhile, they aired The Ed Sullivan Show at 7:00 p.m. (8:00 p.m. Eastern), which included guest stars Wayne and Shuster. This was followed by Close-Up at 8:00 p.m. (9:00 p.m. Eastern) and then the hockey game in progress. On April 3, CBC's affiliates in and near Toronto aired The Garry Moore Show at 8 p.m. followed by Game 4 of the Toronto-New York Rangers game in progress at 9:00 p.m.
Maybe he came clean on something he was feeling after Keefe called him out for being disinterested in regular season hockey , after TB game. Training staff failed to see and now its better he doesnt play at 60%.

Anyone remember when they used to have old-timer games on CBC on Saturday nights before the NHL games?
I think that may have been the 80’s, I stopped being a fan for a few years back then. Thanks to Harold

IMO they are rolling new ball. They are not even trying to keep the old one rolling, otherwise they would try and obtain anything resembling NHL 2C never mind 1C.
They have 5M cap penalty from Bergy and DK. This is their down year.
I don't see how any result in this playoffs can hurt them. They expected suckage...
But win or lose they'll very likely ice a better team next playoffs.

I felt the same way last season. Happy to see them win a series, but didn't think they were good enough to beat FLA.
This year is similar. They have to beat the best to be the best. They have nothing but put up or shut up left to do.
Do I care if they fire Keefe/Shanny, or trade some of the core? I still only like a couple of our players. So hard to get behind all these stars who never delivered all these years.
