It was abysmal in the Dallas game as well. Wild got away with as much or more against Dallas than FLA did against Boston. Fortunately Boston won, but Dallas lost in 2OT. Wild are smart -- commit tons of infractions, knowing that only a small pct will be called. TB has made a living of that over the years. Bs might as well do the same since it appears most refs are going to call playoff games where the penalties even out.

I watched the Tampa/Leafs game a couple weeks ago.
Tampa outplayed the leafs, shots were like 36-20.
Tampa came out with an objective, hit!!!
The penalties were so over the top where a good physical game starred the 2 Refs.
I don't think the penalty box door closed.
That played into the Leafs favor and they won.

They would be silly to throw Bobrovsky into the fire now. Lyon played well enough to give Florida a chance IMO. Marchand's goal was rough, but he made at least 2 or 3 saves that were of the unexpected variety and a bunch more very good ones.

Yeah he was really bad handling the puck. I'm sure he must be one of the guys who caught it because he's usually as steady as they come.

Agreed, he looked unusually slow and lethargic. Like you, I believe he will rebound strongly after another game or two. It would also help to get him away from Carlo.

I heard it might be a virus going around the room. Is that the case, or, beyond resting "nagging injuries," is there something undisclosed going on as well?

Logged back in to say that another unsung hero I forgot about was Hall, some nice passes though I hope he shoots more. But his constant backchecking to break up plays was outstanding, he gets it. Great example to set for his teammates.

I love him, even if he's not scoring.

He gets it for sure.

Or, that's what he wants the B's to think. So many head games this time of year. Either way, the Bruins still have a couple of gears that they didn't use last night. If they start to click the way they can it's going to be tough for any goalie/defense to contain them.


The shear balls and nuttiness of doing that were outrageously hilarious. I don't think NESN caught/showed it though.

Bob's been terrible. They'll stick with Lyon unless he implodes.

I love watching skate , power, speed and those nice strides he takes ...........I also hope he is healthy enough to make it through these playoffs . I enjoy watching older player's trying to get their first SC............

I don't know but he's built like a rock. He's very strong for his size. It's not the same as Charlie, but Brad's puck protection is superlative. It's amazing how good he is at it, especially, again, for his size.
