Bruins scored 6 goals against the Sens and 5 were on the Power Play. Both a good and bad stat.

Krejci, Moore, Acciari (skated earlier in non-contact jersey), Krug, Carlo all missing practice today.

4th line = Schaller - Nash - Kuraly

Rask, Khudobin and McIntyre all on the ice.

Carlo, Krug and maybe Krejci well that would just suck losing all those guys right now. Hopefully Carlo is back for game 2 and Krejci is good to go. I think McAvoy could replace Krug for a while, Acciari can be replaced by Kuraly.

Chara with McAvoy now, Chara with Carlo before, way to put him with the rooks and instill all his knowledge on the young guys.

Krejci is just resting up to be playoff Krejci.

They are letting Hayes and Morrow practice now I see. Was starting to wonder if they had sent them both home. (Sarcasm).

TSN ice chips update today included the Sens players involved in their practice session. Appear all hands will be on deck for them. Looks like the cage may be on the outside looking in for the series.

Salty Vancouver fans on the main board claiming Burrows will own the Bruins again with his "clowning" and it will be "glorious". As if Burrows did anything except cost his team in 2011. What a pathetic bunch they are.

So if everything plays out correctly (DK comes back) JFK will be in the press-box, which is okay.

I personally would like to see both Backes | Belesky on the same line, because they are two key players that can hurt the Senators defense.

Marchand | Bergeron | Stafford (I think he's been one of our better players down the stretch and I prefer him on his natural side)
Vatrano | Krejci | Pasta
Belesky | Spooner | Backes
Timmy S | Moore | Nash

Chara | McQuaid
Liles | McAvoy
Miller | Miller

:laugh::laugh: Some of them will never get over that 2011 loss. The B's were the better team.

The twins are mentally weak in big games.

Question - I'm not in the Boston are and have been using NHL tv to watch games this season (which i freaking hate) is there anyway for me to legally watch the game tomorrow? I don't have NHL network (I don't have cable).

Not sure how you can say they aren't a 'good team'.

Sure, no sexy forwards...but Stone, Brassard, Ryan (yes he's struggled, but he could finally show up too),Turris and Hoffman can cause us trouble with there speed.

The thing that worries me is our bottom 6 isn't as strong as theres...Zach Smith is very underrated and Spooner could be eaten alive.

Travis Yost of TSN lays out his case for Boston being a favourite with the Sens. Quote below sets the stage for his argument. Link for full article covering all first round match up involving Canadian teams is attached.

"And the reason for this is pretty simple – Boston’s a great hockey team. I argued just last week that they would be the one “lower seeded” team that I’d actively try to avoid in the first round, and Ottawa didn’t have much luck with Toronto’s regulation loss to Columbus on Sunday."

Backes should play center if Krejci is out. That's why he was signed, for his versatility. Spooner would get terribly exposed as #2C.

Six years ago and they still can't let it go....well, at least they admit Burrows is a clown.
