It's closer than the Asham/Boyle discussion because we clearly had a sniper in that debate. These two put up similar shot totals but Pyatt has a better shooting percentage. Smart money is on Dorsett who isn't used as much and doesn't play with the same caliber talent as Pyatt in a lot of situations.
Sniper, eh? You're trying to bait me into another Asham-Boyle debate aren't you?

Though I do wish we could transplant Asham's shot onto Hagelin.

I'm really excited for this game because I saw something in game 3 that I didn’t think I’d see at all during the series. I saw this team match the Capitals goal for goal coming up big again and again. The team continued to surprise me and had an answer for the Caps every time they tied the game. I’m really intrigued to see how the offense looks tonight.

Hoping for Boyle, Brass, and Moore to pick up where they left off. Hoping that goal gets Stepan going. Hoping that Nash finds himself. Hoping Staal continues to improve with a game under his belt now.

Also I didn't even consider the superstitious aspect of the GDT. I'm not a big believer in them but I respect that many people are and I don't want to start making enemies right away. Feel free to merge this with a thread made by Loffen or Machinehead if they make one.

Oh God no... Love Loffen and he has been a staple around here for years with fantastic GDT's but I think he is ok with not making them if the mojo isn't there, he can pick up again next year.

Also I feel like your willingness to have this merged is putting our fate in the hands of one of the Mods, if they are superstitious about this sort of thing I can see them merging it. I say it's already been done, let it ride.

You must factor in the laziness as well.....

Did somebody say sniper?

<------- See avatar. :5:

I need them to grab a 2 goal lead early and never let it get any closer than that. I would be nice to not have to deal with the stress of a close game.

I think Clowe has 2 points and this game gets ugly in the 2nd because the score is not close.

Rangers win 5-2

Hagelin
Clowe
Nash
Moore - PP
Dorsett

I have a final from 7:00 to 9:30. When I get out of it, we better be winning.

Anson Carter says that we were lucky to win and that the Capitals dominated in all aspects of the game in game 3. But also says that Washington's in trouble if we tie it.

Thanks for Jagr, Anson!

That's what a vocal portion of this board says too.

We could seriously use the emergence of building mates, Brad Richards and Michael Del Zotto. They both have the ability to win a game by influencing the players around them. They both have done moot in the last three games.

I don't think the Rangers played that well in game 3 but I'm not going to let Anson Carter's comments rattle me either.

Some of the "analysis" he gave last night (especially around the Norris trophy) made me want to slam my head through a plate glass window. Apparently Suter's contract makes him more likely to win the award.

Please dont take my comments as making enemies or anything of the such. Its just superstitions playing upon my mind, and I know Im not the only one. Im ok with whatever the mods want to do.

Doesn't take a genius to see we were outplayed for LONG stretches Monday night, and our power play bailed us out...

Wow, I thought I would never type that sentence about the Rangers!

Carter is right.

On both points.
