The real issue here is the thinking of deployment and lines needs to shift. At this point chytil laf kakko should be used as the 2 line for this team while panarin strome copp should be viewed and used as the 3 line. We don't have a struggling 2nd line, we have a struggling 3rd line at this point.

Panarin is soft as a pillow. Really starting to get sick of him. Where the hell were Krieder and Mika? WTF do we not get in front of the net, EVER? Weak shots from the outside are not going to win playoff games.
 
I expect the Rangers to be balls to the wall with Fury next game. I expect to be surprised with play I wasn't sure they had in them.

They're gonna win 5-3 or lose 6-1.

Oh. Strome couldn't hit the side of a barn. He is so bad. But on this play, he was sliding forward so I give him a miniscule pass. But that doesn't happen too often that I do. He has no puck presence.

I bet you blame the Refs for not giving you enough power plays ... Because you can't score 5 on 5 that's for sure
 
Tampa has been through all of this before. They played two close CF against the Islanders with a shit ton of 1-goal and OT games, and the Isles were a tough, aggressive, physical, veteran team. This is Tampa, and this is why the "Igor's better" chants were moronic.

Tampa has played a zillion of these games critical playoff games in the CF. Stamkos and Hedman have been playing in them since 2011. Go look at the list. They played the Caps in a CF Game 7 CF in 2018. Played a CF Game 7 to Pittsburgh in 2016. Played the Rangers in a CF Game 7 in 2015. Played a Game 7 against Boston in 2011.

You guys need to chill and respect the opponent. They looked like shit for 2.5 games but this is where the experience and will comes in. Rangers don't have it yet. Panarin will be better next year. That was his first taste. Leetch was terrible against the Pens in 1992. So was Messier. It was his turnover that led to the Loney OT goal.

Hahaha ok. Enjoy having the merit of being the only NYR fan (maybe) who doesn’t think the refs were not good. Rangers outplayed Tampa but Vasi made the big saves while Igor let in some uncharacteristic goals

Did they over pass at times? Absolutely.

The refs are not good almost all the time for everyone. Every team gets impacted by bad officiating. And at this time of the year every team picks, hold, grabs, interferes, etc. If you're mad about that then change your expectations back into reality. Nyr isn't as good as other teams are at subtle moving picks and such.

As for the rest, we basically agree, and even in such a game it was a crapshoot tonight, not a slam dunk win. Again, this is why you couldn't let the bolts off the mat when you had your foot on their neck in game 3. There is literally no argument to be made to downplay that. They have lost 3 games in a row now and are on the brink.
