He's having a bad series, it happens to the best of them.

He's having a fine playoffs overall, and is coming off yet another great regular season. What more do you want out of him? Yes he's struggling right now but so is the entire team sans maybe Malkin. That happens sometimes.

When was the last time Crosby was great past the second round? Never.

He never brought it when it counted against teams with a decent gameplan or roster.

He didn't in the 08 finals. He didn't in the 09 finals. He isn't now. He doesn't have an extra gear. Sucks but it's the truth. Even in the Olympics he was meh, got a lucky goal.

I don't understand how Martin doesn't get more accolades. He's been our best and most consistent defenseman all playoffs. He doesn't hit or score though, so he sucks, or something.

Sid has been horrible for 7 periods in this series, but he is not overrated. 6 points in 6 games against Detroit in '08 against the Zetterberg/Lindstrom shutdown unit is great. He was producing chances in the '09 finals. Finally, anybody saying he was 'meh' in the olympics is clearly a stat watcher who didn't watch the games. He was the single most dangerous Canadian skater who was outshined by effective units. (Shark line and Toews line).

Another period, another horde of awful plays by Nisky and Letang. It is also becoming painfully obvious that Dupuis and Kunitz have bet a ton of money on the Bruins to win the cup.

When was the last time Crosby was great past the second round? Never.

Someone posted PPGs for Crosby in the third round and iirc it was like 1.29, so you're wrong.

Where he has struggled is the finals where he's less than a PPG, but he's only been there twice and both times he drew Lidstrom/Zetterberg. Nobody would produce much playing against them.

It doesn't seem like F3 is pressuring the puck carrier anymore. It's more like they are finding the open man that streaking. This lets the Bruins leave the zone and enter our zone a lot easier.
