No, it doesn't.

Why isn't Kunitz with Malkin? Sid is DOING NOTHING with Kunitz. But Sid gets what Sid wants.

All Crosby does is whine. Was it the "teams" fault in the 2008 finals? was it the "teams" fault in 2009 when he dissappeared?

Was it the teams fault when they were playing great team hockey only to have Sid come back and have the team get embarassed by the Flyers?

Facts people-stop being yinzer homers and start seeing reality. Bylsma hasn't disciplined Sid and it's precisely the reason we are where we are.

My crazy old granddad always says if Sid had to ride the bus in the AHL he'd get the picture. Maybe my crazy old granddad isn't so crazy.

Go ahead, laugh at me but the stats are there bud. The facts are with me and not with you.

Malkin won a Conn Smythe because he showed up every ****ing series that year. Sid was GONE in the playoffs. With WAY better linemates.

Sid ****ed up the team last year and he's doing it again. The problem is Sid. He's no better than Ovechkin-he's just lucky he had Malkin behind him

Oh brother. He got shut down by Zetterberg in the SCF in 09. He was awesome in '08. If we had won that year Crosby would have had the Conn Smythe hands down. Malkin won the Conn Smythe because he lit it up against Carolina. A series in which we swept them and. He padded his stats in that series while we don't even make it to that series without Crosby going into God-mode against Washington. Kunitz & Guerin are "WAY better" than Talbot & Fedotenko?

Facts are with you? You're a ****ing joke.

I think 'demoting' Sid to the third line would actually be a good idea since it'd finally break up that KCD line.

If you put out a Bennet-Sid-Iggy line, that will pull bergeron and Chara to it

You would then have a Duper-sutter Kunitz line... if you swapped cooke with Kunitz it would be what all of us have been asking for from the get go.

Yea, with Marian Hossa on his Wing.

He was invisible in 09. Malkin bailed him out.

I watched the Olympics because I watched team USA. Sorry, that excuse doesn't work, bud. Sid wasn't even a top 5 player on that olympic team. He's suppoesd to be the best in the world.

Yet only Malkin has done more when it counted.

This is the only the third conference final the team has even been in during the Crosby era. That's a very very small sample size. And I already pointed out how wrong you and others are - Crosby has like a 1.29 PPG in the third round. He struggled to put up offense in the finals both times, but as I pointed out he was playing the best defenseman of our era and a prime Zetterberg. Nobody produces against that.

Glad I'm not the only one seeing this.

Dude we've been seeing this a bunch of times and every single time we talk about how it's the worst pairing we've ever seen.

At this point it's just too god damn tiring to talk about Bylsma.

But we ignore the other "leader" in the lockerroom. Sid handles the media well but I don't think he has anyone's respect anymore in that room.

you seem to be forgetting that it was malkin who sucked in the '08 finals against detroit. sid undoubtedly had a better series than him.

Dude, we've scored one goal in 7 periods. I know you just read that, but it's worth saying again. That's not the fault of one player, but all of them. I'm not trying to move blame away from Sid, because he deserves as much as anyone, if not more, but it's not only Crosby. And that's the problem.

Oh good. That cute thing is happening where some fans like one of Crosby/Malkin better, they start bashing on the other to prop up their favorite.

The Best player in the league, at some point, makes a play that says jump on my back boys we are going to do this. All we have seen from Crosby is not moving his feet, trying to pass through bruins, and blind backhand passes. It's time to wake up and be a leader captain. Captains don't wine to the refs or get into pissing matches with the other team. They lead by example

He led the playoffs in goals in '09. You're just making things up because you clearly just don't like Crosby. Interesting behavior for a "Pens fan".

Wow... somebody really doesn't like Crosby do they?

The lineup is Bylsma's decision, not Crosby's. And when has Crosby EVER complained about his linemates?

Seriously, GTFO.

I see zero change in the way the Pens are playing in the Bruins' zone. Where are the adjustments? Where is the coaching staff's new game plan to generate more chances? The way they're playing in the offensive zone is a carbon copy of the first two games, where they couldn't generate more than 1 shot to save their lives.

If you defend Sidney Crosby, it's only because he's North American and Malkin is Russian.

I cannot understand just what the gameplan has been here.:shakehead

When they beat Boston 3 times in the regular season, they did it by playing the Bruins' own game. They were tough, defensive minded, grinding games and they were close.

All of a sudden they decide to go into this series and play a wide open, firewagon type of game, and they say **** it to playing defense. They are forcing pucks when plays aren't there, not taking shots when they have openings and instead trying the perfect pass. You can't do that against Boston! They are always in position and anticipate where the puck is going great.

Simplify the game! Razzle dazzle isn't going to cut it against these guys. Just get pucks at the net and look for bounces and rebounds.

This is an absolute embarrassment...

Like I said in my OP that you clearly didn't read-when we played a team with a good coach and defensive system Sid has gone invisible. The Carolina Hurricanes aren't that team.

I thought Sid was the best in the world? Oh wait, let's just make more excuses for him, because we're homer yinzer fans who are too stupid to see. Just like Rob Rossi.

Quit giving Sid credit when he plays like ****. All I'm asking is him be disciplined for once in his damn career.

Don't be dense...

Watch that entire play. Crown is waiting for a breakaway pass, the pass hits someone and slows down so he tries to stop up to avoid a delayed offside.

If Geno could get one past Rask, I think it would lift the entire team. Malkin isn't playing great but he at least looks like he cares. One of the few.
