As a ranger fan I fully expected 5v3. Very odd indeedOh, and another thing, that should be a 5 on 3 PP. 2 men in the box.

You literally cherry picked the worst angle of grainy footage via Twitter post. Possibly the only angle/video that could MAYBE be misdiagnosed as being a headshot.
It was shoulder/back.
Haha, so you actually watched the clip they showed and didn’t see the elbow hit the neck/jaw?!? LaughableHis take on that was absolutely correct. Shoulder hit to shoulder which rode up under the chin. 2 minutes by NHL standards. I believe any head contact should be 5.
wennberg got up almost immediately. rodrigues stayed down for the longest ive seen by anyone this year who wasnt very severely injured.Like Wennberg last game....
Very true, dude sucks and i wish i could like thisTrouba knows Rangers are more effective when he's off the ice. That's some 4d chess he's playing there.
Yes having irrelevant possession where you get low danger shots does not translate to winning. Panthers have dominated this game though.Interesting how corsi, scoring chances, fenwick and a slight edge in high danger scoring chances are deemed irrelevant, yet a slight edge in XGF is deemed the be all end all.
The Panthers are also leading all of the above again in game #3.
This was certainly productive.
Talent-wise no doubt. But Laf was not playing up to his potential for a while. That’s probably why a lot of fans thought that he was a bust. Glad that he is turning this around. A lot of his goals are just flat out spectacular individual efforts.Trocheck made Reilly Smith and Jussi Jokinen a good line. Laf and Panarin are a bit better than both.
There's countless players out there who didn't reach their peak or demonstrate it for a number of years after entering the league, regardless of their size. But on hfboards, if you're not a stud after one season you never will be.It was reasonable to say he was. He is not a big guy, usually the smaller guys either show it right away or not at all, its those guys who are 6'4-6'5 who rely on size who can take 3-4-5 years but I was even beginning to think he was going to be a disappointment, maybe not a full blown bust ala Daigle but maybe Pat Falloon like
Some stat dude on reddit claims its first instance of two penalties on one guy in postseason and none on the opposition since 1998 so maybe why many of us were surprised. Its probably an overlooked technicality that league should changeAs a ranger fan I fully expected 5v3. Very odd indeed
...and he would look like MarchandBarclay Goodrow sound like the name of a guy who would tie up a girl on some train tracks
Saw it on the sportsnet feed, it’s obviousThe replay is out. You should watch it.
Take your own advice, about as clear head contact as it gets.
Possibly. I don’t follow the Rangers that closely. We’ll see if he continues playing at high level next year.Galant is mostly to blame for that. He played the same lines and the same 5 guy on the PP for the whole 2 minutes. A complete waste. There is 82 games. Give all the young guys a shot.
Grazing the shoulder to land on the neck on a crouched over player is illegal now. If anything shouldve been called on e-rod for embellishment. We can all agree he embellished there right?you know what is between shoulder and back? its neck

Can’t wait for you to see the reverse angle and deny that he hits 85% shoulder and back. It’s definitely a two minute penalty. Nothing more. The clips will all come out in the coming days, so I guess you’ll see. . . If you want to
They look like that, but having guys who can get you the puck in the right spot and win battles helps. Most of us on here tend to think players don't play with four other skaters. That's a big part of development.Talent-wise no doubt. But Laf was not playing up to his potential for a while. That’s probably why a lot of fans thought that he was a bust. Botterhill will have Bieksa excommunicated. My god Bieksa
wTF dude????????????
Brutal take
He definitely embellished. Which doesn’t make throwing an elbow at a guy legal.Grazing the shoulder to land on the neck on a crouched over player is illegal now. If anything shouldve been called on e-rod for embellishment. We can all agree he embellished there right?

85%?!? Math major? Can’t wait for you to see the reverse angle and deny that he hits 85% shoulder and back. It’s definitely a two minute penalty. Nothing more.
Way to focus on that. I believe you’ll be doing a lot of that pedantic bullshit to cover for your terrible takes and whining on the topic other coming days85%?!? Math major?
