I agree with @chosen

Those kids go out there and TB ties it up, the confidence is shot. Vets can recover from tjat alot quicker.

With the way TB was pouring it on, the kids would have been hemmed up no different.

They will have their chances to be in those positions soon enough. No need to rush that process.
So you think Kakko and Laf should be in the bottom 3 in minutes? It's great we are winning, but our kid line does more in 10 minutes than line 2 does in games. All year people said the kids have to earn time. Now they earn it and we say we don't want them to lose confidence? Excuses, excuses, excuses. They deserve more time. It will make our team even better which we will need if we want this run to continue.

Expecting a loss but thats really based on what I know about this team from years before.

None of us have seen what this group will do with a big lead in a series.

Well that was your first mistake.

Tampa didn't really pour on anything until they pulled their goalie. There is no reason that they should have been sitting as much as they did before that, especially in lieu of Ryan Reaves.

I have said numerous times that they are a threat every time out there, but they have never been in position to ward off a team of professionals that are trying to tie the game up let alone the defending Champs.

Want to try that today with a 2-0 game advantage leading by a goal or two with 5 minutes left? By all means.

But there is still a learning process that they need to go through and it is always easier to do when you have seen it done first.

These kids are the future. You throw older players into the lions den, let the kids learn.

This is not about earning anything. But it is about Learning

Tampa is not impressive, especially without Brayden Point. Just shut down their top line and the we are good. Who gives af if Kratos (Nick Paul) scores? Their depth has been non-existent in the playoffs, especially people who think their 3rd line is better then the one they had in their 2 Cup runs. Hagel was a good player on a really bad team in Chicago and hasn't done much in Tampa (11 points in 35 games since joining TB, -3 overall). Hedman looks a little lost out there and might be banged up. Mcdonagh has been their best defenseman and he can be worn down with a strong forecheck. Vasilevskiy has been vulnerable on high shots so keep shooting high. Maroon has been offset by Reaves and isn't running around hitting our guys knowing that retribution is waiting on the Rangers bench. And remember the Lightning have Corey Perry, that dirty mofo needs to be knocked out of the playoffs for the 3rd year in a row. Don't even let him get to the Finals this time. Win this game and we are in very, very good shape. Lose this game and the momentum could swing in the Cap Circumventer's favor.

Different argument and one I agree with. They are dangerous every shift. They should have played more in the 3rd.

Need to take at least 1 of 2 in Tampa. If we drop both Tampa is going to take the momentum back and put all the pressure back on us for game 5 which wouldn’t be good.

I expect a strong early push from Tampa. Igor needs to hold the fort down until we get through that push. If we can withstand it, then we can start to push back and control the game.

Play them more for the other parts of the game.

very curious if we look any more consistent going on the road after the game 7 win. also interested to see if this team has developed a killer instinct. that has historically been a puzzle we rarely solve, hopefully this group has it

Can Henry advance to 4-0 lifetime?

Obviously want to win but 2-0 is a different animal. Just win 1/2. Less pressure. That's at least what my brain is saying. We will see how stressed out I feel once we get closer to game time.
