First 10 minutes are super important again. Tampa started off strong last game, and could have gotten their confidence boost being up 1-0 for some time. Rangers answered right away.

I expect Tampa to come out on fire. Home crowd and a bunch of fans that have had to wait 2 weeks for a game to attend. Wonder if they switch up the lines.

Come out of the first 10 even at least and get back into their game. Make Tampa turn the puck over like they have been.

i think theyll go 12 and 6, maybe move some guys. more curious if they decide to play the way they did against fl and dial sit back in the neutral zone to clog that up and not allow us the open ice weve had in games 1 and 2. if i had to guess theyll come out aggressive being home and wanting to push for an early lead. if they get one i think we see them look to kneel out the clock sitting going full islanders. i dont think coop is likes their odds if we can keep making stretch passes - the arms race is decidedly in our favor without point and the emergence of the kid line.....we shoulda had 2-4 more in the second/third last game easily... motte 2 breakaways, panarin 1, laf 2 posts just off the top of my head.

Cooper says that his team takes loses VERY personally, so maybe the Rangers need to let them win this one. BWAHAHAHAHA!

I found that sentiment of his to be ridiculous. I'll bet a Ranger or two may take loses seriously as well.

And the Point excuse? Well, Tampa has yet to beat the Rangers at all this season, and even without Point they still managed to sweep the President's Trophy winner in the last round. Obviously "Mr. Playoffs" makes them better, but not unbeatable.

And ixnay on the "Igor is better" chant. Taunting a frustrated back-to-back champ on their scoring ability is more motivation than they'll ever get from anyone on or behind the bench.

Fully expect Vasi to be lights out. Igor will need the whole team's help. A greasy goal will decide this one.

In the Post Game 2 thread, a few here were whining about some players not getting enough ice time, despite the win and string of wins.

Some almost seem to want to lose so they can complain more about one thing or another. Some folks are anhedonists.

This is so wrong it's sad. People who want our best line to play more want to.....win.

My Keys to the game today,

Get two early goals. Thats it. This will set them back and have them thinking the game which will slow their processing down.

They got stomped out in NY, two quick ones today will not be good for their mental make up

Would be more than thrilled if the team went back to NY up 3-1.

Coming back to their home building after losing the first 2 of the ECF and the first time losing back to back playoff games in 3 years, Tampa is going to feel like their backs are against the wall.

They will come out firing all cylinders Rangers just need to be smart, support the puck deep in the zone when breaking out and try to stay as discipline as possible.

You can weather the first period tied it would bold well for the Rangers the rest of the game, especially if Shesh comes up with some big saves. Will deflate the crowd.

Feeling far too confident at the moment, meaning we are due for a letdown.

But while this NYR generation seems to be as hard as the previous one to knock out in elimination games, maybe they’ll be different when it comes to handling a series lead.

Once again, if NYR want to roll four lines for the energy advantage, we need to have Hunt or Rooney in over Reaves. You do that and all of a sudden line four is a top notch matchup line.

I agree with @chosen

Those kids go out there and TB ties it up, the confidence is shot. Vets can recover from tjat alot quicker.

With the way TB was pouring it on, the kids would have been hemmed up no different.

They will have their chances to be in those positions soon enough. No need to rush that process.
