What is the definition of deep for good teams at this point? Two great lines is pretty much the default, Edmonton notwithstanding.

Deep in terms of points spread out, st Louis might have been the deepest. Followed by Florida, in my opinion. We weren't....until the kid line grew up before our very eyes.

I’d love a win that’s not followed up with excuses from/for the opponent. The Rangers haven’t won nine games. The other team has lost nine.

Chytil thanked the boys but deferred the hat to Goodrow.

I guess the locker room tradition is whoever gets the hat, has to dance? Goodrow essentially calling him out that he doesn't want to dance. Chytil dances.

Goodrow says 'Boys it's great to be back.... we're going to take Game 7'

If they can go to Tampa up 2-0 and just get 1/2 games there that would be absolutely huge and I’d bet on them winning in 5

Would be nice. But winning game two is going to take another complete effort. TB will bring it tonight. Our guys need to want it more.

I think I'm probably underestimating TB's second line honestly.

Pearl Jam almost stopped the show back in '03 (I think) because the stage was bouncing during Do The Evolution... I was wearing my NYR jersey that night and got a "Let's Go Rangers" chant going in the stairwell after the show :thumbu:

If we keep leaving Kucherov wide open in the slot we won't win this series. If we play like games 3 and 4 and Pitt we won't win. Nothing is guaranteed

I've been saying this for many years. That the Rangers winning in the playoffs creates interest in the sport. New York is a different kind of place with so many different options of entertainment and sports to consume. But when the Rangers are rolling deep in the playoffs New York has a way of getting behind them. And for a lot of kids it's something that will stick with them. It happened in 94. There was a boom in kids that wanted to play. I had already been playing for a couple years and I was obsessed with hockey, obsessed with the Rangers. Then the Rangers won and suddenly so many kids wanted to play hockey. Street hockey, ice hockey. My 6th grade class got detention for chanting "1994" at a Devils fan teacher. Funny thing is most of those kids never watched hockey or cared before that. It was a good time to be a fan and a player. I hope that same thing happens now. A new generation of hockey fans, players, and Rangers fans.

soooo nervous about tonight’s game. really hope they don’t take their feet off the gas. We’re definitely playing with house money and we know how good Tampa is. Hoping for a competitive game win or lose
