Here are the teams still in the running for ultimate loser.

If the Rangers lose in the Finals, it's the Islanders.

If the Panthers lose in the Finals it's Toronto.

If the Stars lose in the Finals, it's Nashville.

If the Oilers lose in the Finals, it's Winnipeg.

The ultimate loser in 2023 was the Rangers.

Maybe the Rangers can sign and play a 1st rounder that was playing in some college in Boston to add some spark like they did back in the day. You know if we're trying to repeat history in all.

(Not a serious suggestion)

He has to be better than Kakko

Pretty wild he’s an inch away from a primary assist and a goal off the pass from Gus last game.

Kakko has been trending down in this poor four game stretch at five on five though, pretty much every forward has a better XG, outside of whatever the hell Goodrow and Vesey are doing out there.
His offseason could be wild

Florida players were hitting guys like Fox a full 2 seconds after they got rid of the puck. Do we get the same allowance?
Not if it's Rempe. Player must still have the puck and Rempe has to crouch very low when he makes contact, but not low enough that he clips/bridges the guy ala Necas on Trouba

Been saying since a while, our biggest downfall might be that we didn't give Othmann some time in the nhl and see if he could have been an option for the Zib Kreider line. He's exactly the type of player that's needed in this series, doesn't back down, throws his body and can chip in offensively. The other issue is that some of our d is playing scared and panicking, Fox because he's injured and smallish, Gus cus he's just hearing footsteps, and Lindgren because he is also smallish.
Hopefully we put our best foot forward tonight.
