I'm gonna miss tonight's game as I've got birthday dinner reservations, but I'll be watching on the DVR as soon as I get home. Hopefully the Rangers will have left me a nice present.

That's what I usually do but UK unable to do that on Thursdays because I'm performing price changes throughout my store. I work in a grocery store right now. When I work in the front end it's easy to watch the games, but Thursdays I never work there.
And to answer the other poster about DVRing it, yes I have a DVR but it's so not the same...

Ahh, the first statement yet from Montreal that doesn't reek of overconfidence.
Given how much I've heard from that team about how Henrik is lucky, how they get no calls, and how superior they feel to the Rangers I'd be surprised if they win. Their game on monday was not that good. Not a lot of traffic in front and a lot of perimeter shots. Yet all I hear from montreal is that their play was good enough and if they just do it again Henrik will be unlucky. Not exactly a formula for success.

I have faith in AV and I have faith in the guys to play a better game in front of the home crowd they haven't seen since game 6. AV has been out coaching Therrien so far so I don't see why that would change now that we're home and he has last change.

Why is there so much uncertainty on Brass.....this "day to day" line seemed to be just a play to me and the rest of the NYR beat, but MTL media reporting that AV said in french brassard was out tonight. Though I think things were lost in translation and Brass will play tonight, its still weird to me.

why?
again, whats the difference between the 82nd game of the regular season and the first game of the playoffs?
lets say you just captured the presidents trophy in game 82...do you start chanting we want the cup?
if so, do you also use orange spray tan and spike your hair?
to me...these are teh kinds of guys who cheer "we want the cup" before the actual SCF...
I agree with you but it's a personal choice, I guess. I mean I used to get annoyed with Potvin sucks but I learned to live with it and even justify it as a part of the Rangers tradition and heritage. Another thing I find annoying is when fans begin to jeer thei opposite goalie after one goal.
BTW, I lolled at the pic and the comment.

Fans of all teams have been starting the goalie jeering way too early these playoffs.
Fans would start in the first period when it's 0-0. Montreal fans were doing it when the Rangers were up 3-1 last game and 2-0 in game 1. Yeah, really getting in the goalie's head, as he's playing great and winning, good job fans.

I don't care what anyone chants during the game. Personally, I love the "We Want The Cup" chant. You're in it to win it. I think the timing of it may come into question but still. I think if they are up late in game 3 maybe you start it. But I think the Garden faithful would wait until game 4.
