Montreal knows this is it for them, expect their best. Get to Tokarski early and often. MSG crowd can get in his head.

Lets go boys.

:rangers

Our house is going to be rocking. Montreal is going to come out even harder than they did in Game 2 though. Withstand their initial surge and I like our chances.

Not feeling good about tonight, though, this has letdown written all over it. The media is starting to give us some hype. I just hope our guys aren't reading the press clippings. We're the one's with pressure on us now. Montreal will be playing like they have nothing to lose.

Not for nothing, but that surge should come from the Rangers. Not the other way around.

Game one at home in the ECF? Rangers should be the team that comes out firing.

I know the Habs have more to lose, but that is irrelevent. Rangers have an opportunity to (for all intents and purposes) put this series to bed with a win tonight.

The Rangers need to come out with the 10-15 minute surge tonight and put two behind Tokarski build in some doubt.

I would be mildly disappointed if the Canadiens controlled the first period.

For the second time this week, my hockey team has a game at 10pm. I'll get to watch the first and most of the second but will be playing during the 3rd. Good news is that last time this happened, the Rangers won. Hoping I come off the ice to learn of another victory!

I have bled blue since the 1970's....my heart says the NYR win tonight 3-1.

My head says we are due for a letdown, we have won 5 in a row in the PO, Hank is due for a bad game, and the fans and media are too loosey goosey... we lose this one and win Sunday. we close it out in 5 or 6.

In saying that I hope we bury them.

 Felt the same since G6 of the 2nd round.

Until the next game is the most important. And then the next one And.....

generally speaking, I agree.

difference to me, is that the series takes on a completely different look/feel between being up 3-0 or 2-1

Rangers up three nothing, game four becomes easier to win. Still difficult no doubt, but the pressure of overcoming a 3-0 hole looms LARGE which is why it has hardly happened. Kings doing it this year makes them the 4th team in NHL History to complete the feat.

Winning game three gives Montreal life. Regardless of how well they play. they can play like crap, win and the series is different. They can continue to control territory like they did last game, win and their confidence is soaring.

Up 3-0 it basically becomes inevitable.

Up 2-1 while losing your first home game, this is not very much a series.

Tonight is the 3rd biggest game of the season. Games 5 and 6 against Pitt were bigger.

“@AGrossRecord: Both Pouliot and Brassard on the ice for Rangers morning skate.”

Hoping to see a Rangers-Kings final.

Yeah, I know I'm ahead of myself. Just picture it as a great matchup.

That would be the absolute worst match up for us in this year's playoffs.

Anyone else scared of the fact that we haven't played since Monday and we might have lost momentum in the meantime? I'm usually optimistic but I seem even more skeptical and nervous for tonight than I was in Monday. We can do this, especially with Tokarski in but I find ourselves in a common hole almost every time we start getting confident, and that is that we get too ahead of ourselves. Do you think Pitt thought we would come back? What if this happens to us? We need to stick to our current system and build off all the things that have been happening and hopefully, if we maintain that gameplan, we'll come out with a game 3 win. LGR!!!

Momentum between games is a myth. They need to just play the way they've played the last five.

I would have to say the two game 7's were pretty big.

I'm nervous for this game.... so many ramifications on the outcome of this. I look to our leaders to step up. Hank will be Hank. I expect Nash, MSL, Richards to really step up tonight and make sure our boys don't let up.

Oh, and my off the wall prediction is that Staal scores tonight.

“@KatieStrangESPN: #NYR #MTL Pouliot just had a brief talk with team trainer, then left the ice.”

No, not scared. We didn't even have our best game on Monday especially with Brassard out. Expecting to sweep this series, actually
