Hopefully another win. In the playoffs the Rangers are 4-3 at MSG and 6-3 on the road--so their home record needs to catch up with their road record.

Anyway I wouldn't take Tokarski for granted. This is not a game we can just throw our sticks on the ice and expect to win. The Rangers are going to have to work hard to win. It's not over until it's over--nothing is in the bag. Hopefully win No. 11 is tonight.

"It’s no secret that our start to last night’s game wasn’t good.
Give Montreal full marks, they came at us real hard, but at the end of the day we need to play better than we did.
We can’t rely on our goaltending the way we did last night.
- Alain Vigneault"

AV gets it. Torts simply didn't.

Yeah, the Rangers defense as a whole needs to do a better job. Its been masked a little by Lundqvists stellar play. Even if a couple of cheapies go in everyone is saying there are too many scoring chances. And they would be right. Need to exit the zone a little better. I dont think they have been terrible in their own zone when under pressure - they've bent but not broken but there have been many giveaways this postseason. They need to tighten that up if they want to get to the finals and do something when they get there. Top to bottom, just stingier. They are capable with the pairs they have. They have been good in front of Lundqvist though and that needs to continue...

Kreider v. Emelin All. Night. Long.

The opportunity to make this a short series is staring us in the face, while out west they're looking at going at least 6 (IMO). Have to take advantage of that.

When the Rangers keep their legs moving and win 50-50 puck battles, there are few teams that can match our four-line depth.

Come out angry, because they sure as hell will.

Torts didn't have the depth that AV has either though partly that was his own fault. He didn't trust kids like Kreider very much. Even so the Rangers have a guy like Diaz--not even playing who would have been a better option for the bottom pair than what he was working with the last couple years--and the Rangers 4th line against Boston last year was not good. This is a better team personnel wise. I do agree the system is better--not sitting on leads like they use to daring the other team to score. Rangers are close to a 3 goals a game clip in the playoffs and considering they went over 7 straight periods against Pittsburgh without a goal that's pretty good. Our pwp has got 10 goals in the playoffs now as well. Things are gelling in the conference finals this time--not like in 11-12 when the Rangers were going through another in a series of brutal low scoring boards battles with New Jersey.

Yeah--get their 2nd pair back on its heels. Kreider owned Emelin in the first game and Subban struggled against him in the second. The more we're in their end hitting and forechecking the better as well.

Keep hearing people speculating that Price is not as injured as Therrien said and that the brace and limp is mostly acting to avoid questioning. Some people actually think he will come back in this series. If that is true, don't let the series go long enough to where he comes back.

Going with a 5-1 score.

Nash gets another, Kreider with a goal and 2 helpers.

MSL gets 2

D. Moore finishes it with a empty netter.

When MSG is behind you, completely and I believe they will be tonight, it's a pretty intimadating building.

I want the crowd to drown out Johnny A. while he's singing the National Anthem.

Lets go boys.

20 minutes, one shift at a time.

LETS GO RANGERS.

Our house is going to be rocking. Montreal is going to come out even harder than they did in Game 2 though. Withstand their initial surge and I like our chances.

Not feeling good about tonight, though, this has letdown written all over it. The media is starting to give us some hype. I just hope our guys aren't reading the press clippings. We're the one's with pressure on us now. Montreal will be playing like they have nothing to lose.

Don't know why Torts needs to be brought up again (and again) - he wouldn't be happy with the effort in the first either. His teams depth (in 11 - 12, for instance where he was the most successful) was nowhere near this year' team. Gaborik was playing with one healthy shoulder, Del Zotto was a top 4 and the team had 2 forth lines. His only fault would be with his approach toward PP but otherwise he got everything he could out of his personnel.

Why would Montreal do that? That is a seriously dumb theory created by hopefuls of their fanbase. If Carey wasn't seriously injured enough to miss the entire ECF++ they would have let him play game two like he wanted to. I guess anything is possible but that sounds stupid.

I agree it's a dumb theory from desperate fans. They claim that Therrien gave a vague time table to avoid media harassment and they had Price wear a brace to avoid media as well. Heard HNIC talking about it the other day.

The league and the Players Association would NEVER let that happen. He's really hurt.

Let's go rangers. Agree that this has letdown game written on top of it. Conceding that the Nash goal *may* have been stoppable and Lundqvist played out of his mind last game, there should be concern about Montreal. They had over 40 shots.Rangers will need to tighten up defensively and not take Montreal lightly. Lose tonight and its 2-1 with a lot of pressure on Game 4. Win tonight and go up 3-0 and Montreal may be deflated by the deficit and knowing Price is out.

Expectation is that this is a different Rangers team than we've seen in the past. Richards, Lundqvist, and MSL will make sure the team knows the opportunity is there and doesn't throw it away.

This could be the most important game of the season to this point... Tonight will change the complexion of this series one way or the other.

If Hank has to do it alone again it won't end well for us.

I want to be tenacious defensively and opportunistic offensively.

Gotta step it up.

This is what I want in life: Hagelin to swoop in and score off the rush in the first five minutes. If this occurs, everything is going to be just fine.

Hoping to see a Rangers-Kings final.

Yeah, I know I'm ahead of myself. Just picture it as a great matchup.

Until the next game is the most important. And then the next one And.....

Missing most of the game cause of work, **** me.

Stomp on their ****ing throats.

Lets go boys.
