Although who knows. Either way, this is good for us:

1) We are playing a backup goalie regardless
2) They might lose focus of the point of the game, which is to score.

Wow, really gotta stay out of the Price injury thread on the main board. It's a madhouse.
 
teams have a tendency to rally around backup goalies and controversy like this. theriens playing it kinda well...the victim..the big mean rangers....lotsa bulletin board stuff for their team.

but, if he puts in murray, all that is gone. rangers will rip him to shreds with their speed.

I will say between Murray and Parros Montreal has some really smart tough players. Maybe they can filibuster Kreider into quitting, they certainly can't skate with him.

Doubt he'd stoop to that level, of dressing Murray. That'd be handing the Rangers the series on even more of a silver platter than is already present. Further, Beaulieu and Weaver have played well on the third pairing, so there's no one eligible to sit.

You're right that teams tend to rally behind backup goalies for a brief period. And that may happen here. However, Budaj has proven to be terribly unreliable. Good in brief bursts, but that rarely lasts longer than a game. That's the (good) problem of having a terrific goalie with endurance: no need to have a great back-up.

They had there chance in the game for retribution, it was only 2-0, and nothing happened. Don't really see how there is any bulletin board material. If anything we have the extra motivation by being disrespected on our game 1 victory. See how that works LOL
 
would it be to late to get one of the playoff avatars with kreider hitting price and it saying kreider used accidently on purpose and it being super effective lol
 
I know Carcillo can be a good pest, but for some reason, for tonight, I am really really missing Avery. :laugh:

For the sake of the MTL media, I hope that Emelin doesn't try to trip Kreider again when Kreider blows past him again on his bullet-like speed towards Budaj.
