Who cares? They're not the Bruins. If they try to play a tough game, the Rangers will skate circles around them. Their game is speed and skill. I imagine someone will stand up before the game and say lets focus on what got us here, not "let's run Hank for revenge."

Although who knows. Either way, this is good for us:

1) We are playing a backup goalie regardless
2) They might lose focus of the point of the game, which is to score.

I agree I am just questioning the need for all the histrionics to get motivated for round 3. It's quite frankly very odd.

What, will they try to ticket him for breaking the speed limit? Reckless driving maybe? :laugh:
 
So because the hab fans have a long and storied tradition of sanctifying their goalies, they assume we had a game plan to run Price because he is clearly the best player still playing.

Just hope kreider and lundqvist don't fall victim to cheap shots. But they are probably all talk, and this will end in typical fashion with a Prust-Carcillo fight.

Just read that Price is out for the whole series. I woke up to a notification from ESPN that they have picked a goalie, but it's "secret". I have a feeling Price will be in goal the whole series.
 
The league is fully aware of the backdrop in this series.

IMO: The Refs will take control of the game early.

It wouldn't surprise me to see a parade of players into the penalty box in the first period.
 
OMG this drama is driving me crazy. It's like watching real housewives of beverly hills. The Canadian media is just doing it in the hopes that it lights a fire under Montreal and somehow throws off NY. It's so obvious, but it's so annoying!

The schedule is pretty spread out, if it stayed like the first 2 rounds then maybe but even then I probaly wouldnt

Besides that, you want this guy to feel welcome enough to extend and stay.
He's FA after next season.
We can't offer him starter mins.; long term he books if nothing happens to Hank.
How long he stays short term could depend on good will.

Him sitting defer to Hank, sure, def. yes.
But 100% every single game. No chances to play?
In a situation where they are up and regardless of anything else, you want Hank to have some rest to be ready for ... say Chicago?

And on top of that, Price is out.

And the rest of you guys can't even trust him for a single game?!

And if you watch the end of the play Kreider does try to stop, he turns his left ankle and hits ice. Its an instinct. His first priority is to score there so hes getting the shot off mid-air.

I don't think Kreider did anything wrong, but I sure don't see him turning his left foot.
