In retrospect it would be great to say that we won this series by getting our pucks past Price. Still, this injury - if he is in fact injured - is probably the worst blow that the Habs lineup could suffer.

Sure Budaj may step up and make some great saves and/or play a great game or two, but for the entire series he can't be expected to match Price's numbers.

The worst enemy of the Rangers right now must be complacency and/or subconsciously underestimating their suffering opponent. The losses against the Islanders on Jan 21st and the Hurricanes on March 11th come to mind.

Still, this is the playoffs and motivational/effort slumps like that shouldn't really be occurring. Also, the team seems to be doing a consistently good job of recharging, analyzing and preparing for the next game. Finally, on some level it has to be beneficial to be able to walk into the Bell Centre full of self confidence.

I think we'll finally get that 2 game lead in a series tonight.

The dreaded game two.

I literally have no idea what to expect in this game given our game two performances and the follow up to a rare dominant victory in the playoffs.

I missed the first game guys. 7-2 win at 7 PM our time, would have been perfect for me. I was invited on a feast though, had a smart phone to check out hfb frequently ... 't was beautiful!!!

Looking forward to tonight! Let's go Rangers!!!! Can't wait.

If Price is hurt, and the Rangers win, we'll never hear the end of how lucky the Rangers were and would have lost if he was healthy.

It can't be any worse than the Canucks fans and Nathan LaFayette's post. The only thing discernible from the main board series threads is that people make the facts fit their narratives no matter what actually happens.

My feeling as well. I don't know what the Canadien newspaper says, but I guess they confirm The Post;)

Listening to TSN 990 in Montreal this morning, they're reporting that as per Darren Dreger's information, Price will be in net tonight.
He may be in net, but my question is, how healthy is he? I'm sure he won't be 100%!

He's fine. If he wasn't fine, he wouldn't have played the rest of the 2nd period in game 1. They're just milking the whole thing as a rallying point for their team. Price will be the hero playing hurt and Kreider is the villain. A cute narrative until we beat them again tonight.

No one cared when Jagr was hurt.

No one cared that Callahan and Hagelin were both playing with torn Labrums.

Let whoever say whatever. I don't care.

Richards is a ******

There’s noise in every playoff building. I wish we could play every game in here, not necessarily against the Canadiens. It’s just a great building.
I’m a Canadian guy that played major junior hockey in Quebec. I spent a lot of time looking and imagining playing here. They’re loud and the fans will be behind them.
We’ve got to weather that all the time and, at the same time, enjoy this. There’s not a better stage.

- Brad Richards

I think we all know where Brad is going thsi summer.

if you didn't sucks farts out of seats on busses, maybe the NYR home crowd would cheer for you as well.

Help us win a cup and be on your way.

If Carey Price can't go for the rest of the series, and the Rangers win

It will be Priceless

Like that? see what I did there?

Yuup. I did that.

lol, I know it was a stupid play on words/commercial.

Either he "sucks farts" or he's capable of helping us win a Cup. Pick one. He can't be both.

A decent Playoff run doesn't make up for a ****** tenure.

Maybe to some it does, but to me it doesn't.

I don't give him a pass for the Reg. season thsi year and last because he's been "ok" in the playoffs.

I'm also not one to ignore the flaws of the team because they put a beating on a team in game one of the ECF. There's still 6 games to play potentially.

Oh, please, Richards is just saying what EVERYONE says - that the Habs building is the best in the league. It is. Want to ***** about that? Then MSG should be making a lot more noise - consistently. Not just in the ECF's.

There's nothing wrong with what he said. Richards is honest - just like he was when Callahan got traded. I'd prefer an honest response instead of the typical cookie-cutter responses we usually get.
